Some terrific action today, and I fancy a good day for Ballydoyle. However Tom Stack’s Noll Wallop is taken to win the second race, 4/1 is simply too big a price for a colt who looked potentially top class after his seasonal debut. €10 e/w @ 4/1

September 4, 2010 at 13:22 #315869Noll Wallop ran a shocker! €20 win Lillie Langtry 10/3

Spacious ran her heart out and you have to feel for her hitting the crossbar again!

September 4, 2010 at 14:52 #315890Cape Blanco puts a below par King George run behind him to win under a shrewd Seamie Heff ride.
Ah well, nothing lost nothing gained today, but an enjoyable afternoon on the sofa. Oh, and the hay is in
September 5, 2010 at 13:39 #315991€30 win @ 5/6 Lope De Vega without Paco Boy

September 6, 2010 at 22:13 #316238As Gord as highlighted in the Big Races area Profound Beauty is available at 5/1 with Paddy Power to win the Irish Leger. Stan James are much closer to the mark with their quote of 7/2 imo. I personally wouldn’t rate Opinion Poll in the same league as the Dermot Weld pair and I wouldn’t like to oppose Weld’s with any of the others either. I would consider the race a match between the two stable stars. At 5/1 Profound Beauty is an e/w bet to nothing, if she runs. Heavy ground would be a concern given the amount of recent rain. We’ve had 3 inches of rain here in Wexford in the past 24 hours

I’m a huge fan of the mare so please God she runs…€20 e/w @ 5/1
Fantasy King runs in the Amateur Derby Handicap, the 2nd race on the card, and is the most interesting other entry.

Good luck with your bet, Tommy. I’d agree about the going, fingers crossed as I somehow doubt both will run, it doesn’t make sense, he’s not AOB, going will decide, if she runs she wins, I’ll settle for SP a guaranteed run
I’d also earmarked Fantasy King….he could be a bit specialSeptember 7, 2010 at 14:40 #316310Nice to see the strong support for both Profound Beauty and Rewilding today. Ladbrokes even went 5/2 about her and 4s about Rite Of Passage. Hopefully this is a sign she is THE ONE.
Rewilding very solid also and my 4/1 looks nice enough at this stage.September 8, 2010 at 14:28 #316467Rite Of Passage misses the race, Profoun Beauty 7/4 with Bet365….see Irish Leger Thread for full Racing Post article
September 10, 2010 at 15:13 #316926Supplemented my Rewilding bet with €5 e/ on Snow Fairy @ 8/1. She’s the proven class horse of the race and if you had to pick one to run for a place for your life this is it.

Poor start to a big day today. Up to Pfrofound Beauty and possibly Fantasy King to save the day…September 11, 2010 at 14:55 #317056Beaten by a good horse in Sans Frontieres, pity though as she looke all over the winner 2f out

+ €40

September 11, 2010 at 15:09 #317062€5 e/w Fantasy King 16/1, I wouldn’t be overly enamored with the booking of son though

+ €150.51
September 11, 2010 at 15:14 #317064Another €5 e/w on Fantasy King, 12/1. Really think he could be a smart horse.
