Seems he’s got some form back :D

Six weeks ago or so, I posted that to me The KG was a two horse race, Harbinger or Profound Beauty
When the mare was withdrawn naturally I made Harbibger a good thing, I could see not danger whatsoever.
Did I back him today? NO :(
I’ve always been very wary of stables out of form, I lost an impressive winner today but given the same circumstances again I’d probably do the same.
Over the years I’d say I’ve saved more than I would have won by sticking to this principl.

Hands up though, I got it very wrong this time although I maintained all along a 3-Y-O could not win The KG this year

Can’t see that we should deal in certainties here CS. The form of the Stoute team was doubtful. Yet even with that doubt, Harbinger’s price of 7/2 (or more) made it (for me) worth backing.
