    The stewards have finally noticed that horses from this stable are sometimes given a quiet ride.

    They finally took notice. Jack Tudor is the Pipe ‘job jockey’ and one who regularly lands the stable’s gambles. He does have a year long schooling in public experience and is probably very reliable when it comes to handicapping a horse.

    They didn’t punish the wrong combo.

    I recall we both mentioned it ERL but I still have to laugh at the time a few months ago when a Williams horse with no form was punted off the boards at Hereford, hacked up on the bridle and Alex Hammond on SSR said “Christian Williams has found the key to him now.”

    Yes Alex – after he managed to get the horse dropped a stone in the weights and then lumped on. :yahoo:

    Danny’s Friend is the horse you’re thinking of CAS. Jack Tudor rode that one six times in a row just to make sure he didn’t get anywhere near to the first three places. And then the horse wins easily at Hereford when backed into 9/4……
