I backed US Army Ranger and did feel that Ryan Moore should have had the colt handier . That said , the winner looks a very good horse . However , I contend that with a smoother run at Epsom , US Army Ranger would have won and rightly or wrongly , I will gamble again that the O’Brien horse can reverse places at The Curragh .
Oh , word to unwise : beware of false profits and people who refer to themselves in the third person . Happy days .

Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
June 11, 2016 at 14:43 #1250828Catching up on this thread – I think we all appreciate a thick skin is required on most forums (this included) and this applies to both new and long-term posters. I hope the exchange hasn’t put any of those involved off further posting. I missed some of the deleted posts so not sure what the thrust of the arguments were. On Troy’s posts, I had a look at the html of the posts and can’t see why the formatting wasn’t set right, I suspect that wasn’t the poster’s intention or fault but instead some kind of a glitch.
Sectional timing – it is not rocket science, the problem is locating the data as it is limited. Simon Rowlands, who has specialised in study of the topic, explains it very eloquently here in a two part blog.
Finally – ‘sectional harrassment’ …. I laughed Steve!
June 11, 2016 at 15:05 #1250841If anyone is interested in a bit more detail than is included in Simon’s blog I have an excellent 66 page pdf Timeform booklet on Sectional Timing, written by Simon, which I can forward to those interested. Mail me david@theracingforum.co.uk

SOMEHOW or SKIFFLE for me in the Ribblesdale Drone
I thought Godolphin said Skiffle was dropping back in trip next time.
Anyway, I checked the Ribblesdale entries and she’s not in the field, neither is Somehow.
Back to the drawing board I’m afraid Raymo
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 11, 2016 at 15:08 #1250843Hi David, could you catch up on the site hack thread please?
We need to know that our personal information is safe.

My delete was non argumentative
and more to do with trendingI’d hazard a guess Lost Solider is on about the Advertising thread.

June 15, 2016 at 10:14 #1251525Another questionable ride on The Gurkha yesterday ?
June 15, 2016 at 12:02 #1251553Yes, imagine if that was his only ride of the meeting.
In reality he has such a book a rides that another winner is just around the corner amd messing up in Group 1 is easily forgotten.

June 15, 2016 at 22:32 #1251701This is hilarious. So sad I missed the original as so many posts now deleted. Glad though to see Gingertipster continues to make a good living out of the sport. May he one day share his secrets.

for clarification – nothing was deleted by myself or Cormack.
June 16, 2016 at 09:41 #1251765Troy – I’ve no idea why some of your posts show up in red. I’ve had a look and there is nothing in the post that looks odd in terms of formatting.

You’re not alone Troy, a pal of mine, Softie gets the same red lettering when posting.
