May 3, 2025 at 15:28 #1729227How will L.I.W. cope in a soggy October i wonder.
With Kalpana they are working backwards with the Arc as the main aim.
May 3, 2025 at 15:36 #1729230Will be a beautiful sunny day, Mike
Besides always the cash out option Mike…
Charles Darwin to conquer the World
May 11, 2025 at 04:18 #1730073Both horses running on Thursday next week.
May 11, 2025 at 07:29 #1730075Middleton (kalpana entry)next week if they all stand their ground looks a decent renewal
May 13, 2025 at 10:02 #1730232Kalpana not declared for Middleton
May 18, 2025 at 18:49 #1730845Kalpana is set to make her seasonal comeback in next Sunday’s Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh having been ruled out with a dirty scope last week.
May 25, 2025 at 15:16 #1731255Gone in again on Kalpana 25-1 ew. Finished up the winner’s backside 1st run back. Strange that she drifted but suits me fine. ;o)
May 25, 2025 at 15:55 #1731273Kalpana 16-1 e/w.
Can’t believe she’s drifted after today’s reappearance. I thought she was clearly the one to take out of the race.
May 26, 2025 at 09:53 #1731304I would imagine they will stick with the original plan with Kalpana and head to the Pretty Polly Stakes next.
May 31, 2025 at 15:39 #1731688Sorry about that, VtC I actually checked your current threads but neglected to check the actual first page !?!
May 31, 2025 at 16:33 #1731696The gist of my missing post was how impressed I was by how confidently Estrange has been ridden.
I know it was only a fillies group 3 but she left the second, a Gosden Arc entry, for dead! The fact she also goes on soft ground is another factor in her favour come October.
In my eagerness to post I missed the thread at the bottom of the first page, so I won’t repeat the fancy prices that were available immediately post-race but which are now long gone alas. You can bet that I hope she turns up at Longchamp however!May 31, 2025 at 18:31 #1731710I’d love Estrange to win the Arc for O’Mera. If you’ve got the 33/1 then fair enough. However, I do think the ITV team went a bit OTT. She won easily but only from a Listed winner who – although Shaha was expected to improve – sweated up quite a bit beforehand and may not have shown all she could do… And Beautiful Love has gone backwards since her good run at the Breeders Cup (well below form today). So although impressive and would be interesting in a Group 1… She’s now 16/1 tops. The same as last year’s Champion Fillie and mares easy Group 1 winner Kalpana.
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2025 at 19:37 #1731716I wouldn’t be desperate to back her at current prices, GT, but what impressed me most about her performance was how quietly the jockey sat, almost as though he knew he could cover anything the leaders could produce. I do believe there is a heck of a lot to come from her
May 31, 2025 at 20:26 #1731721Oli Bell on ITV went totally overboard citing she could be one of the superstars of the season.
The more I know the less I understand.
May 31, 2025 at 20:33 #1731723So you don’t agree, RTB, it’s all about opinions…
