Well, ITV Racing are all about getting non racing people interested in racing and a beautiful horse like she is would draw in the crowds. I do hope she turns out to be really good.

Well, it is possible to argue she “could be one of the superatars of the season”, RTB. If she improves another 10+ lbs… Which is possible. As it is equally possible for about 200 other horses.
Value Is EverythingPersonally I’d rather be (well, I am) on Los Angeles and Kalpana. They both have far better form AND are probably still capable of further improvement too – once returned to 1m4f.

I was surprised that New Grounds odds didn’t come in dramatically after the Derby. Or maybe they had been much greater prior to the race. Given how badly he handled the preliminaries yesterday it was an impressive run.

Graffard win again and think he looks a high quality colt at 1m4.Despite finishing second on her most recent start Balding believes it was a good effort from Kalpana in defeat and one that should put her cherry ripe for her next assignment.
“She is a much bigger filly this year and she probably just wanted that run again the last day in Ireland. We did think that could be the case going into that race, but she is exactly where she needs to be now fitness wise. She is fit and ready to go for the King George as long as the ground is suitable.”
I’ve backed Map of Stars and Cualificar for this, both at 66-1 , and hoping for decent prep races tomorrow.
Added Whirl 10-1 to win today and this. Kalpana will likely need the rain to come for this and the ground looks nice today.

66-1 on Cualificar is a great bet Green. I thought he ran an excellent trial given he struggled to get a clear run. Better than a couple of Fabre’s Arc winners…
You can be sure that the new formed dream combo will get turned over plenty of times at the usual prohibitive odds. Interesting to see how many potential Arc horses Aidan had in May and how many real contenders he has now.
