Mixed fortunes for my Godolphin runners over the weekend. Points for Nations Pride & good old Yibir. The others are not only still running but they left them the keys with a note to tell them to lock up when they’ve finished going round! Now on 5640 points (496th). 4 swaps remaining.

You’ve been good to hang on with 4 swaps still remaining Catherine.
    :good:

Ive put together the Leaderboard for July and just need an update from John to confirm his results. :good:

Managed to find Graham’s result as we all know he is otherwise engaged this week. :rose:

Well done to all who made swaps and gained points, there were highs and lows last week and Graham was up against it battling to get his stable together and losing his connection whilst on the Ferry.
But there are many more Group races upcoming so those saved swaps are going to be very useful. :good:

    New London

    Hello to everyone.

Last week I decided to use another swap. The outcome was mixed has I removed
Nations Pride and With The Moonlight who both finished second in Grade One races
at Belmont Park. However my old choice Yibir did win at Newmarket.

The outcome at the end of the week was a score of 5580 with a rank of 511 still leaving
    me bottom of the league.

However there seems to be better news of Real World and Adayar and still have 3 swaps left.
The old old refrain about a Bonus Race has not changed.

    Many Thanks :bye:

    Thanks John and Andre :good:
Will update your score John :mail:
I also had voted out With The Moonlight, she was in my first stable and now believe that if you stick with them they do come around again.

3 swaps left is still good but with 16 weeks still to go until the compy ends on Saturday 5th November. We have to be careful now.
I think 7 swaps would have been a fairer amount per player considering this has been going on since 29th April and we get 5 swaps for the Meydan World Cup contest which is a much shorter period.

So many opportunities for a Bonus race missed last week.

Keep safe and cool..drink lots of water..🏝🥛🥛🥛🥛 Jac

Classic is running at Newbury in a bit
Hes up against a few with experience but I’ve had a nibble at 5’s

    Eyecatching debut to be fair
slowly away, short for room but closed quite well hands and heels.
The favourite has form with Victory Dance so I think Classic should be winning races somewhere down the line

I was sitting in Costas and saw your post Nathan so rushed to get on and my mobile battery went flat..just semi charged it. I would have only put my freebet on.
Glad to hear he ran well against a decent horse, he can only improve for that.
Thanks Nathan for highlighting him and look forward to seeing him in the flesh one day.

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow, I have some studying to do for the Daylight.. :mail:

Graham..Hope you and Marjorie are enjoying your new Grandson. :rose:

Hope everyone is doing well. I got my picks in early as I’ve got a busy weekend ahead.

Good Luck in the Daylight Cup Jac – you are carrying the hopes of the Meydan thread – so no pressure!!

Hopefully we’ll get a Graham and baby Alexander update soon! Talking about updates – how’s Wilson doing?

I’ll have to find a recording of the Newbury race – sounds like Classic is one for the notebook.

    Good Luck Everyone!

Thanks Andre :good: and good luck with your choices hope you get a chance to watch them run.

I hope Richard Hannon brings Classic to Newmarket and I get a chance to see him. Looks like he caught a few eyes yesterday without making the frame so all bodes well for his next appearance

Look forward to hearing an update from Graham soon on baby Alexander.

Wilson is doing fine and soon to go on holiday with son Chris, Helen & girls to a country retreat within Thetford Forest, Norfolk (where they made Dad’s Army) so look out for Sergeant Wilson and his Pack. B-)

Good luck today to all today and stay cool..🏖

I am in love with Classic already..
I’ve had £5 on him for next years Derby at 100/1
He probably won’t be good enough to run in it but on pedigree he would be and Hannon likes him I’m guessing by starting him at Newbury which he tends to do with a percentage of his good ones. Also to throw him in against experienced and decent form opposition first time out. I have watched it again and the horse was under hands and heels and given a nice time out and looked after.
Hope he runs at Newmarket Jac, you will have to make sure the phone is fully charged and take plenty of photos
Good luck in the daylight cup.. :good:

I was able to find a video of the finish of Classic’s race – a lovely looking horse, I can see why you have fallen for him Nathan! You just never know, your 100/1 might just pay off.

Glad to hear Wilson is doing well Jac – Ahhhhn yes, Dad’s Army – what a classic comedy, one of my all time favorites.

Good Luck and stay cool – for once we are not facing a brutal heatwave, for which I am thankful.

I’ll be taking some of that Nathan :good: Wouldn’t it be a fairytale for him to win The Derby.

Struggling with my 4PP picks today..so many small fields but just about to take the plunge so relying on you cheering them home for me.. :good:

Heat building today but cooling breeze so quite pleasant.

Not at Newmarket today, the small fields and petrol prices made it not worth it but will be there next Saturday.
Last night they had The Script performing after racing and a friend told me it was £62.00 a ticket  No wonder atendances are low…
Better get my horses on..back later..

Scored 35 points in the Daylight comp today which I’m certain has got me through. :yahoo:

Not a brilliant start when my first horse Run For Freedom did just that and got himself withdrawn but luckily my Reserve Auditor in the lucky last came home at 6/4, Will Buick’s 5th winner of the day at Newmarket. Eddies Boy 15/2 scored at Newbury with Hollie Doyle on board for 17 points and I had a 2nd and a 3rd.

Noticed Graham also had Eddies Boy in his picks :good: What a ride Hollie gave him Graham hope you were on that. :good:

Andre hope you got everything done that you wanted too today.. :rose: Jac

Congratulations on getting through to the semi-finals of the Daylight Cup Jac! That’s so awesome!! :yahoo: :yahoo: Carrying the hopes of the Meydan Thread, well done – so excited for you!

Hollie Doyle is just amazing – glad she got Eddies Boy home for you & Graham.

My picks are, as always, still running…… I had a busy day helping my wife with her candle business, so I didn’t get to see any racing but I did check results when I got home.

    Stay Safe!

    Thanks Nathan & Andre :yahoo:
    Can hardly believe it.

I have to thank Hollie Doyle for her scorching ride on Eddies Boy for helping me get through and over the moon with the result.

I was extremely lucky to catch Grey Desire on a 0 points week as I know from marking 4PP scores how good a player he/she is and thought Bob’s brenda very unlucky with her scores not getting through it happened to me when robnorth played all outsiders for his picks and they all obliged as wins/places. Brenda was my main worry to come up against but Hot Fuss is on fire at the moment and must be odds on to win. :good:

Formidable opposition so taking nothing for granted but I’ll do my best for our Meydan Thursdays Thread. :yahoo: Jac
