January 28, 2016 at 22:44 #1231043Cheers N, no joy with the others, and no real excuses, though I suppose I could have asked for some smoother passages for mine haha.
January 29, 2016 at 12:31 #1231079Cheers from me too N but I was on win only so nothing back for me either!
I see Dark Emerald is earning his keep out there again.January 30, 2016 at 09:42 #1231215My last choice Big Baz managed to come plum last so most of my concentration on Lingfield today..think I’ll stick to cheering on Vtc’s Acca today.
Well done with your place on Earnshaw Bobby and also to Karinga Bay for picking him.May have a stab at another one later…surely must do better than 14/14
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 30, 2016 at 10:33 #1231233One of these Acca’s is going to come in Jac, I’m all over this Meydan lark

February 1, 2016 at 14:02 #1231567Jeezo, is this back on again lol

Right, I’m going to have a proper look at these entries
February 1, 2016 at 14:04 #1231568lol,VTC have you got a couple for me to watch at cheltenham? if not meydan will suffice
February 1, 2016 at 14:19 #1231569My #1 fancy for Cheltenham is Cause of Causes in The Kim Muir, but he ain’t on any firms lists at the moment, and entries aren’t out, so one to hold fire with for now.
I’ll see what I can do with Thursdays runners, hopefully won’t have to worry about Cheltenham when my Acca comes in at Meydan lol
February 1, 2016 at 14:46 #1231573Hey Guys,
I do not know how well prepared this horse will be, but Icecapada in the 5th race Cape Verdi(Gr.2) will be supported by my money.
This is a very kapable filly, one of her races, listed as a conditions race (09/06/2015 Tab) is the Swedish 1000 Guineas (Dianalöpning), where she among others beat Danish 1000 Guineas (Mowerinalob) and future Danish Derby winner Manacor as well as future Danish Oaks winner Mai Pen Rai, her next race, the Norwegian 1000 Guineas she finished all too late to catch the winner. The she won the Scandic Norwegian Derby Trial, beating Norwegian 2000 Guineas winner Brownie as well as Quarterback. Her next race was the Norwegian Derby(L) finishing 2nd to Quarterback and had two lengths in spare to Swedish Derby(L) winner Bokan. Quarterback was a length and a half from winning the january 21 Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District One at Meydan…
Icecapada then twice beat older Champion race-mares over the mile.
Here she is, winning the Stockholms Fillies & Mares Stakes(L) (the grey from gate 2) https://youtu.be/EOM-cUpukRMBest Wishes
SilkFebruary 1, 2016 at 15:13 #1231581thanks for that KS,just skimmed over her form, she seems quite versatile regarding trip/going and at least this year(unlike last season at meydan) its not on dirt.I see she was DQ for riders use of the whip,in her maiden.
February 1, 2016 at 15:47 #1231584nwalton, whipping a horse is not allowed in Norwegian racing, they use a version of a two-year-old stick, only allowing correcting taps on the shoulder of the horse, whith both hands on the reins…so new riders can forget and Rafael Schistl did.
Best Wishes
SilkFebruary 2, 2016 at 13:28 #1231816KS interesting jockey booking(william Buick) for Icecapada
February 2, 2016 at 13:32 #1231817Very, walton
– as well as for other Scandinavian runners on the card…Best Wishes
SilkFebruary 3, 2016 at 13:46 #1232038what price would people put Ertijaal in at tomorrow?
No prices yet and i dont play at short odds (esp h’caps) which think this could neigh on be odds on in a sprint handicap
