no bets tomorrow,a decent card with California Chrome running.I was interested in a couple.Safety Check looks the won to beat in the Group 2 Zabeel Mile but i will pass on that at the prices.I was really interested in Think Ahead (5,20) but with the price gone due to the NR(Elleval) i will leave alone.365 go 7/4 which is worth a look, but as i can not get on much with that firm i cannot lie and say i am on.
The sprint (6,30) see’s my old pal Fityaan running again,i just cannot get him right, but he could run into a place at double figure odds.

So all in all a day to watch for me.Good luck if you play and roll on doncaster in april

In the 6.30 Meydan I felt Naadirr was worth a go at 9/4 this morning.

I felt he would have a good season last year after he got off the mark in quite taking style in the Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster.

He absolutely stank the place out last of fifteen next time though and he was later gelded. Far from disgraced in Group 1 and 2 company, he also went down by only a neck in a Group 3.

He has to give weight away today but over what looked an inadequate 5f last time, he did his best work in the closing stages after being a bit slowly away. Up to 6f this slightly quirky horse would have a great chance if he puts his best foot forward and I feel he could easily take advantage of being in this company.

I would still take 2/1 that is available but if he gets as low as 6/4 I would see that as too short to get involved.

6.30 Meydan Naadirr 2/1 or better

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

steve i walked the course the morning of the Duke Of York and it did walk really dead, although the time was that of decent going, imo it was probably slower. If we look at the first three home that day, they are all probably best with a bit of give.

Zarkava,i was trying to look for a bit of ew on something, but they all look much the same. You probably have it about right, instead of trying to look for a ‘steal’ just lay the fav(not that i have.lol)
If he gets beat your bet looks good as he will probably shorten right up.

that was impressive yesterday, the 3/1 seems fair to me.I very rarely back AP,just hope he will be around that price on the night. Will be harder with the likes of Frosted in the field, looking forward to the race

A couple of furlongs out I felt Naadirr might just do it but he was beaten by a horse returning after almost 500 days off. I did Baccarat in the Wokingham when he won it but his last run had hardly been inspiring, last of 15.

A good training performance and if he doesn’t bounce Baccarat can go in again for a nice pot somewhere.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

One i was interested in was Famous Kid,but according to emirates site he is a non runner.

The Balanchine is a question of is Euro Charline ready to go first time up.With doubts about her record fresh i cannot bring myself to back her.Although Very Special looked just that last time, would you really want to back her to give 3lb to Botti mare? For me this race goes in the ‘sitting on the fence ‘ file.

5.20 i really am going against all my rules but i do believe seven is Amercian Hope’s trip.I know he is 0/6 on turf but at av odds between 9/2 5/1 i have managed to get a few pennies on each way.It is (as would be accepted)a tough race but believe he can be given a chance.

Good luck today, will be back for super saturday at the weekend
