N, I might have to have a wee bet on Belgian Bill, I had a few quid on him last year at a fair price when he was second to the eventually disqualified So Beloved in The Betfred Mile. I think a deserve a wee return after that
January 12, 2016 at 06:55 #1229324good luck VTC i will certainly be cheering the old boy on.
January 12, 2016 at 12:04 #1229344if anyone is interested here are the decs
January 12, 2016 at 20:39 #1229390Steady Pace will be very short in the UAE 2000 Guineas Trial but shouldn’t find too much trouble, has run the Gosden wonder horse Shalaa close on a couple of occasions and nothing of that class in this race the step up to 7f could even be an advantage with the conditions being so quick.

January 13, 2016 at 06:57 #1229424agree nathan would not be surprised if Steady Pace is around a 1/3,2/7 shot.
I see Carry On Deryck is having his first run for Godolphin(5.20)has a bit to do on the figures as it looks decent listed event.Limario may well run ok back here, highly tried last two efforts at meydan in Group one company.
Will wait till someone prices’s it upJanuary 13, 2016 at 18:23 #12294655/4 and 11/10 available for Steady Pace wasn’t allowed a lot but had to back at that price
January 13, 2016 at 18:30 #1229470VTC 10s,Bill with WH, as low as 7s in other place.
January 14, 2016 at 10:01 #1229502I think Carry On Deryck is not going to run.
Had a bit of a lump on Steady Pace first thing this morning at 11/10 would of been rude not to.
trainer is saying the distance is a positive which is what I thought and is not 100% sure on the surface, at least it will ride on the quick side.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 14, 2016 at 10:06 #1229504cheers nathan, just seen they have pulled out Carry On Deryck.Agree with you 11/10 Steady pace did seem big(I dont normally play at those odds) i thought he’d be well odds on,even allowing for the new surface

January 14, 2016 at 16:32 #1229522Well done N & Nathan.
N, I missed the 10’s, only got 8’s. Also did a Mug 15 & an Acca with Reynaldothewizard, More Aspen & Jutland.
January 14, 2016 at 16:55 #1229523well done everyone.VTC well done with the wizard
January 14, 2016 at 18:07 #1229531well done VTC,still a very nice bet if Bill can do the buisness
January 21, 2016 at 09:21 #1230185another day at the carnival
3.35 I think Fityaan is well worth a look at the double figure odds(12s in some places) will wait to make sure eight make it to post.Watch the run behind the highly impressive Ertijaal and although i am not a basher of jockey’s,i believe Dane O’neil will do a better job today.Has 1.5L to make up on likely fav Greed Door but to me that could well happen,at the odds to me more than happy to take Green Door on again(that’s not to say Green Door cant win)
4,45 Safety Check looks the one to beat, but at odds on not for me.Zarwaan (ex Ed Dunlop) could well run a decent race on his first start for Doug Watson. The harder they go up front will suit him best.
5.20 Elhaame is a worthy fav(but has yet to shine first time up) Elleval is the obvious danger after a decent effort a fortnight ago.Only one firm going 1/4 odds,so will wiat to see if any 9/2 5s is about later with that firm
The 6.30 is an interesting 12f H’cap and Battersea would be on the list to run well, bur=t as yet is still not a runner.Al Saham was second in this last season, but to me no value in the price.
Just a point of interest why are some firms 123 in this 16 runner h’cap
Good luck to all the ‘desert rats’ today
January 21, 2016 at 10:19 #1230195Nothing for me today
I love Elhaame, took the family to Leicester one weekend as they had a Peter Andre concert after he racing and he ran and won that day for Luca Cumani and helped pay a chunk towards the weekend but like you say, today is a watching day as far as he is concerned.
Good luck with Fityaan, I will be cheering him on for you.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
