Also Cormack i have a few favorites on here and the first person to get our invite is Nathan, and i will pay for his ticket, he runs all the comps, always gives the latest info andas much as i p#ss him off he hhasn’t seemed to hate me yet….So you are coming Nathan, let me know where from and i will gladly arrange, seems a shame though that Nathan comes and ‘ our’ fantasy girl… i mean Nathans fantasy girl Triptych doesn’t come so free you diary up Jac….Geez…it has to be GT and TAPK, Coggy is in, faaark i have to invite Joni, ( Joni you can only talk about Frankel for the first hour….) anyway i am sure the list will grow, looking forward to it!

Jolly name the day and I’ll be there. Can’t wait to see you and er indoors and continue the Black Caviar v Frankel debate that I won last year.

BTW if you like a bit of British/Irish drama and don’t mind a bit of hard-hitting telly watch The Fall. Best TV I’ve seen in ages.

I wasn’t sure about watching The Fall; the last series terrified me. But I think I’ll give it a go. I do like Gillian Anderson.

Jolly, I’m as far away from Ascot as you are, well nearly anyway.

I’m in the very far North Of Scotland with Perth the nearest racecourse. Even that is about six hours by train for me.

I absolutely hate travelling, it’s just time wasted for me and public transport is unsuitable for us 6ft 3in people. These days I need to look after my wife full time anyway, as she has cerebral palsy and suffered a near fatal virus in 1999, which left her lungs and muscles permanently damaged, after a medically induced coma and steroid drugs took their toll. Viral Pneumonia was the expert’s best guess for a cause and I even had to stand there in disbelief as the consultant told me that "If I were a betting man, I would say it’s 2/1 that your wife might die" (I’m not making that up either!)

I’d love to meet up with some of the forum regulars but it’s just not practical for me.

Have a good day if you’re going though, I’ll be watching somewhere!

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
