Good luck mate, I would probably follow you in, but I’m always a bit wary when they’re first time up
December 26, 2017 at 07:18 #13339986mm of rain overnight. Dry racing day expected.
December 26, 2017 at 08:54 #1334001Going remains good to soft, soft in places.
December 26, 2017 at 11:38 #1334035Should be a fascinating race and I hope either BDM or Might Bite can prove genuine champions. Think I’m just going to have small e/w bets on Double Shuffle & Traffic Fluide. Neither should be good enough but, with question marks over several of the others, 100-1 for a place looks decent value in an 8 runner field (though may already have missed that price with Double Shuffle). Good luck to all & here’s hoping all runners come home safely
December 26, 2017 at 12:29 #1334037100 on must back (might bite) and 25 saver on tea for too at 25-1. think the horse has been underestimated, many punters will be biased against it as has female jock on board.
gl everyone
December 26, 2017 at 12:51 #1334039I’m hoping BDM is as good as I think he is Tonge, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Traffic Fluids. He’s been a nightmare to train with his injuries, but he does have some ability. I think there’s only a small chance of a place but at those odds its worth a couple of quid.
December 26, 2017 at 12:56 #1334042Whisper EW 8/1 for me. Might Bite didn’t beat him that far last season at Aintree and I think Whisper had a very encouraging run at Newbury. Also rooting for Bristol de Mai as I have him for the Triple Crown.
December 26, 2017 at 12:59 #1334043It’s a good clash. I’d be happy if Bristol De Mai wins as it keeps alive a few on the forums hopes of the big treble bet that said I’m a big fan of Might Bite, his run at Kempton last year was eye popping and I reckon he has the speed around this track to get the better of his counter part and his engine is not bad either.
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 26, 2017 at 13:40 #1334057Ground changed to soft, good to soft in places. I hope for my sake Might Bite can handle it.
December 26, 2017 at 14:46 #1334076Besides my bet on Fox Norton, i will go with Tea For Two EW @ 25s.
Nick Williams has won with 4 of his last 5 runners with the other one finishing 2nd. This horse likes the track and should be fitter after his Haydock run.December 26, 2017 at 14:56 #1334078Hendo mentioned soft ground would be a concern – looks like there can be no excuses for BDM ground wise, although to be fair horses have not been finishing out on their feet in the races so I don’t think it will be as testing as he really revels in.
December 26, 2017 at 14:58 #1334079Hendo mentioned soft ground would be a concern – looks like no excuses for BDM now with the ground change.
Everything in his favour now, was hoping it sould be good ground so we could find more out about him, although no excuses now
Good luck everyone
December 26, 2017 at 15:03 #1334082The debate will soon be over . . . The pre-race one at least!
December 26, 2017 at 15:12 #1334084get in Bite!!
December 26, 2017 at 15:12 #1334085Well done Mite Bite, well done Lizzie at 25s and what a race by Double Shuffle!!!
December 26, 2017 at 15:13 #1334086wtf Double Shuffle?
December 26, 2017 at 15:14 #1334087Hard to know about Might Bite; early in the straight he looked like strolling home, but it was hard work in the end, and the placed horses don’t help the form. Still, clear winner and maybe improvement to come
