Awful run wasn’t it Jac? Something must have been amiss. The “plan” was always to run her as a 4-year-old but yesterday might have put paid to that. Sorry you didn’t back an winners but it was a miserable day all round wasn’t it! I did like that Frankel 2-year-old winner though – he looks group class.
The big day today and such a shame about the weather. It’s likely to be bottomless as it’s been raining in Paris for almost 24 hours. I’m not even sure the meeting will go ahead. So it will come down to who will handle the conditions rather than who is the best horse. I was all over Adayar until the rain but I’m not sure he’ll be as effective on it as Hurricane Lane will be. HL seems to me to get lower to the ground and he looks to have the action more suited to extreme conditions. As long as he is over the St Leger he will go very close. I have done the forecast and have Adayar in my Ten To Follow team so will be happy with either result. Fingers crossed the meeting goes ahead and we get a race worthy of the line-up.

October 24, 2021 at 17:00 #1564537Hi Joni
Know you will be sloping off soon and I’m at Newmarket for the weekend for the last hurrah this Friday and Saturday.Well done with your finishing position in the Ten To Follow it has been a difficult season finding horses to go the whole distance to Champions Day and you put in some nice choices.
I’ve decided to be a bit more low key through the winter, just concentrate on my Thread and the competitions but I won’t be backing All Weather this year as much as last. Meydan starts in January so looking forward to that.

Enjoy your break Joni and hope we can meet up at Newmarket next season.
Jac
