Approximately ten million tonnes of plastic enters the planet’s oceans every year.
That is still considerably less than Ms Higgins has in her face and body.
March 12, 2025 at 14:03 #1723063So she is a plastic nobody then?
The more I know the less I understand.
March 12, 2025 at 14:13 #1723070Basically, yes.
March 12, 2025 at 14:14 #1723071A bit harsh
Maybe she shouldn’t have been given the gig but that’s not her fault
Looks like they put her on just for the opening scenes as she is Irish

March 12, 2025 at 14:35 #1723091She didn’t have to take so it is her fault. Why ITV made the intro yesterday an Irish affair is beyond me this is a UK festival.

March 12, 2025 at 17:01 #1723166Haven’t watched a lot of ITV racing this year and I’ve had a reminder after 2 days why I can’t stand it. There’s something about Ed I don’t like. Can’t put my finger on it but feels like he tries to make everything more dramatic than it is, like its some massive soap opera. Reminds me of watching the wrestling as a kid. Megan’s voice is very annoying. Chapman has always been annoying. Fitzy is just a Henderson fanboy. Ruby’s the only one I like. Much preferred the Channel 4 coverage. Shame I can’t afford Racing TV.
March 12, 2025 at 17:06 #1723170After Constitution Hill and Jonbon, Fitzgerald must be in despair. Worst pundit on television, in a crowded field.
March 12, 2025 at 17:20 #1723184Ed is a drama queen and loves a tragic storyline to milk which he has had plenty of today.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 12, 2025 at 18:15 #1723200Wouldn’t generally disagree with your assessment of Fitz CAS but McCoy makes sure it’s a true run race and I reckon he might have edged it today.
March 12, 2025 at 20:43 #1723240Ed missed his calling on children’s television. He talks to the audience as though they are five years old.

March 12, 2025 at 21:15 #1723247Screens were up around Galvin after the Cross Country and he was taken off in the horse ambulance. Hoiles mentioned that Energumene was pulled up and dismounted. Shabby that ITV didn’t think either of these popular warriors was worthy of an update. Fingers crossed both are OK.
March 12, 2025 at 21:32 #1723254The Champion Chase was one of very few races so far that I’ve watched on ITV. It was noticeable that they missed Libberty Hunter’s fall, and very nearly that of Quilixios, thanks to the ongoing obsession with close-ups and artsy overhead shots.
March 12, 2025 at 22:45 #1723260Any updates on Galvin and Energumene Catherine? (Tonge). Haven’t heard any updates on ITV.

Totally agree RTB
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 12, 2025 at 23:07 #1723266Seemingly good news on Energumene. From the stewards’ report:
The representative of Willie Mullins reported that ENERGUMENE (FR), which was pulled up, lost its action coming down the hill; the Veterinary Officer examined the gelding post-race and had nothing to report.
Less clear on Galvin:
The Veterinary Officer reported that GALVIN (IRE), which was pulled up, was found to be lame on its right-fore.
Fingers very much crossed for him.

Why would she not take it?
Do you think she is not acting out a script by those in charge
just because us horsey folk, think what the **** is this, doesn’t mean she has to care. Shes getting paid for what she has been ask to do. So its those in charge whose fault it is imoGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
