I have those same “embellishments”.
Megan must be on Brimzolamide too.Value Is EverythingAugust 17, 2024 at 18:09 #1704845How many times did they mention Dizzy Rascal today they must have been getting a bonus to plug it.
My girlfriend got a glimpse of Megan earlier and said that is a bit tight over her hips don’t you think, I just thought Mmm.The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
August 17, 2024 at 19:58 #1704854Blimey. Maybe we should have a separate thread for those who just want to perv over young women presenters to spare the rest of us!
Must admit that it was refreshing to see Megan and whoever that other woman is dressed normally though. Fed up with seeing the female presenters dressed up like they’re playing Widow Twanky in panto every Saturday.
August 17, 2024 at 20:16 #1704856I maybe many things but I am not a perv Megan is a lovely young lady.
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
August 17, 2024 at 20:37 #1704858That word ‘perv’ is a strong term to use especially in this day and age. Many people may get the wrong impression even if it’s used in jest…
August 17, 2024 at 20:59 #1704859I disagree. None of the women in question are underage (and it would certainly be a different matter altogether if they were). It’s a lighthearted term commonly used to refer to this sort of harmless “Benny Hill” type of smut. I apologise unreservedly to anyone offended though.

a lounge thread would go down a treat for me as long as gamble didn’t start posting up photos of his dates 80+ years ago along with his riddles.Blackbeard to conquer the World
August 17, 2024 at 21:27 #1704863It boils down to how times have changed Tonge … as most of us know it. Even Benny Hill re-runs on a freeview channel comes with a caution to sensitive viewers. I recall my school days when Hot Gossip would perform on the Kenny Everett Show around 5PM. Even wolf whistling can land someone with a 2 year jail sentence. We do live in somewhat confusing times.
August 18, 2024 at 03:47 #1704875If somebody has an issue with that Tonge and feel they need you to apologize, let alone unreservedly apologize, then perhaps they have the issue, not you.
There are far more important issues going on around us that make your choice of the word perv, totally, totally inconsequential by comparison.
Megan doesn’t actually float my boat too much, but some others on TV very much appeal to my eye, so therefore I’ll happily acknowledge that I am in fact, by your definition, a perv…..and I have no plans whatsoever to apologize, only continue to admire and appreciate natural beauty.
August 18, 2024 at 09:47 #1704882From ‘Oxford Langauges’-
perv
INFORMAL
noun
1.a sexual pervert.
2.a lustful or lecherous look.
verb
gaze lustfully or lecherously.
“we perved on them from a distance”1940s (originally Australian): abbreviation of the noun pervert.
Pervert
a person whose sexual behaviour is regarded as abnormal and unacceptable. In short – IMO nothing unacceptable about finding members of the opposite (or same) sex attractive and neither is there anything unacceptable in saying so. The line is crossed into perversion when it’s ‘abnormal’ or ‘unacceptable’ – whatever defines that would be open to debate.
August 18, 2024 at 13:11 #1704890PC gone far too far – people in general are far too sensitive and react to the slightest thing and blow it out of all proportion, I think in a lot of cases its because they feel the need to be outraged for outrage’s sake rather than having something to truly be outraged about.
The way things are going we will find the job of being a comedian will eventually be banned because we all know that making a joke is always at the expense of (aka taking the p*ss out of) another person/group and surely that isn’t going to sit right with those that like to kick off about…..well pretty much everything.
On this particular matter, for me I find that Megan is a very attractive/beautiful/stunning/hot (insert whatever other adjective you like) woman and while she was standing behind the podium the outfit wouldn’t (to me) have raised any eyebrows at all but when she did the paddock walk revealing the thigh split on the outfit, I just thought………WOW, it was a departure from what we normally see but at no point did I think it wasn’t an appropriate outfit for her to be wearing.
Much like when I attended the Brigadier Gerard evening meeting on a rather dank/cool night in 2018 (that was also being televised on ITV) – me and the rather large crowd surrounding the paddock were witness to Francessca rocking the paddock walk in a very form fitting (aka skin tight) pair of leather pants……needless to say it wasn’t just the likes of Without Parole and Poet’s Word that were garnering all the attention that night.
Sadly we are now in a world where you can be damned whatever you do, if you innocently compliment a woman on either her looks or outfit you can be labelled as being ‘sexist’ but if you don’t say anything (for fear of the ‘sexist’ remark) you are then somehow fat shamming them.
August 19, 2024 at 04:14 #1704911…… I always liked a young Jenny Pitman myself , then again I do like a strong opinionated woman ..
August 19, 2024 at 04:18 #1704912All the main presenting team , both male and female are easy on the eye , let’s be honest they are on tv so need to be , Luke is the humorous jester , Chapman the Mccrick , no need for anyone to get upset
August 19, 2024 at 08:16 #1704914‘people in general are far too sensitive and react to the slightest thing and blow it out of all proportion’
They do. Such as declaring that ‘being a comedian will eventually be banned’.
August 19, 2024 at 14:13 #1704930Nothing like quoting a couple of short sentences from two entire paragraphs and missing entirely the overall context of said paragraphs but hey ho.
August 19, 2024 at 19:28 #1704960Comedy, much like perving, has been around for centuries and probably much longer than that. Don’t worry, neither of them are going anywhere.
August 19, 2024 at 22:00 #1704973I do totally agree with you there, as they are intrinsic parts of human nature just like the fact that we will never be a non violent race, no matter how much people might want us to be.
We seriously need a re-boot from this PC/Woke era we are living in currently as I fear it really is doing far more harm than good. The sooner the re-boot, the better.
