Read the bottom few paragraphs. He’s not trying to negotiate with the handicapper…. Or is he?
November 24, 2019 at 14:54 #1475791I’m very interested in Winter Escape now for Aintree.
Ran as I hoped he would there at Navan, and I’m also very keen on him for The Paddy Power at Leapordstown over Christmas.
November 24, 2019 at 17:10 #1475807Native river is alot shorter in the market ….can’t see anything said by tizzard to back it up
November 24, 2019 at 18:48 #1475816I seen a link a few weeks back, saying that the owners were considering it, but nothing concrete.
He’s ideal for it, for all he’d be high enough. He’s a long term favourite of mine though, and I’d have to cover him if he did get an entry.
November 24, 2019 at 19:24 #1475818I love him but unless it’s a bog he isn’t going to win another GC , plus the yard have prob got this winner , fingers crossed x they go grand national , I took 33 and 40s during the summer
November 26, 2019 at 19:17 #1475951I like beware the bear at 50s but bit too early to play.
December 1, 2019 at 22:46 #1476351QUOTES: We’ll see how DE RASHER COUNTER is after today and see what the handicapper does before making plans. The Grand National is something we’ve spoken about, but he’s only a second-season novice. I don’t know, It will be too soon to say. – Emma Lavelle, trainer
So far only Many Clouds has won both Hennessy (now Ladbrokes trophy) & Grand National in same season, and this is showing doubt in their minds. Maybe next season. I do expect an entry for him though and come out sometime before the final field is declared
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.December 2, 2019 at 01:09 #1476359Gordon Elliott has a press day during the week there, and he gave a list of 12, 13 Horses which would be his rough National team this year.
Obviously take these things with a huge pinch of salt, but jumping right off the page was Champagne Classic.
Always liked this horse, and depending how the next two months go, he could come here on a very nice mark.
Not quoted right now, but after he was left in The Ladbroke till the five day stage, he is definitely on my shortlist.
December 7, 2019 at 14:57 #1476786That was a nice run out for Native , jumped the first 2 a bit high but then jumped really nicely , tired a bit at the end but you can expect that , really telling that Bryony didn’t even try and get in a race with him
December 8, 2019 at 17:56 #1476889Not that big a shout this, as he caught the eye of a few people yesterday, but a very eyecatching run from Le Breuil yesterday.
A bit surprised that the 40’s held.
December 8, 2019 at 20:55 #1476908I backed him yesterday , he travelled really well , your just hoping he blew up rather than him not staying …yard isnt exactly flying so I’d agree that you’d have to be positive
December 9, 2019 at 12:59 #1476945Yeah, think he’ll stay alright, and stable form has to be considered. They’ve just had a Munir Souede Runner drift like a barge at Musselburgh, before bombing out, so things can only get better (just won the next)
I’ve not bet him, but he was certainly the one to take out of it for me.
December 9, 2019 at 14:45 #1476960I had a small each way bet on Le Breuil myself at the 40s. Jumped and travelled very well, looks a perfect horse for the Nash.
December 10, 2019 at 01:11 #1477006Let’s hope it’s great minds think alike because I, too, had a bet on Le Breuil for the Nash before racing on Saturday; also Native River and One for Arthur. I’ve been following Le Breuil this season. Trainer comment in my Jumping Prospects book being ”he now has the perfect profile for the Aintree Grand National’. Roll on April. Shall we start planning the party now!
December 10, 2019 at 09:35 #1477013Excellent moe, good to see you like him too.
I’ve got no money down yet though, so we can only have a party if he wins and I’ve bet him. If I miss out, I won’t be going lol
December 10, 2019 at 12:11 #1477023If you look through the history of the race you will find that the horse that wins usually has at least 10 chase starts. Le Breuil will need to be very active the remainder of the season to reach that target.
December 10, 2019 at 13:51 #1477030The National is my favourite race for a long term punt, and this year looks more difficult than usual. It might be Kimberlite Candy for me, I thought that he ran a smashing race on Saturday.
