February 26, 2020 at 15:32 #1483920It’s back to the drawing board for me. I had really came round to Champagne Classic or Chris’s Dream here.
I know that he’s second fav for this, but there hasn’t been much attention to Burrows Saint.
I may have an early bet on him, and I also like Tout Est Permis
February 27, 2020 at 00:44 #1483972Seems strange to say about a horse who’s generally second favourite, but I’d agree Spoon, he’s almost the forgotten horse.
I thought he was brilliant at Fairyhouse last year, and that run puts him bang there.
February 27, 2020 at 08:16 #14839817 year olds don’t win Nationals.
Not since the dark ages.February 28, 2020 at 13:37 #1484111A horse simply can’t be ‘forgotten’ if it’s second fav. Maybe people aren’t mentioning him but the market is.
March 1, 2020 at 08:02 #1484316I had been interested in the 3 de Bromhead horses and he’s narrowed it down for me by scratching two!
Poker Party (at 50s nrnb with Paddy Power) is my first bet, in anticipation of a decent run today.March 1, 2020 at 11:16 #1484335I did the same yesterday Green. As he was always my dark horse and had a free bet to boot I thought may as well.
March 1, 2020 at 18:49 #1484365Might not think this on the day but is this shaping up to be an above average National??

March 2, 2020 at 00:36 #1484404Looks pretty decent to me at this stage Sir.
March 11, 2020 at 19:44 #1485589Here is my NAP for the National:
Tiger Roll WON’T be the favourite.
March 11, 2020 at 21:31 #1485604Tiger Roll uncertain to run if the ground is Soft or Heavy
March 16, 2020 at 20:59 #1486332Shame, but can’t say I’m surprised
March 16, 2020 at 21:12 #1486335What’s going on here?
Somebody must have cracked my account, I#ve never written this!
March 16, 2020 at 21:40 #1486341Unfortunately the authorities had no choice. It would not have been practical to stage the meeting with such a limited number of people on site. Pity because the Thursday is always one of my favourite days racing if the year but it is right to make the decision early.
March 16, 2020 at 22:20 #1486348They should cancel all racing then, until this coronavirus has gone or at least not causing panic like it’s doing. Also places with mass crowds like city & town centre.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.March 17, 2020 at 10:34 #1486368Agreed, Red Rum 77, can’t see the logic in it continuing.
March 17, 2020 at 12:05 #1486374The difference with normal racing & the National is the reliance on ambulances etc. is much much greater.
I’m not advocating racing carrying on, just giving the reasoning behind why the National is a much different beast from a Tuesday at Kelso.
