I saw something on Twitter earlier stating that Contingent had died following an accident on the gallops last week, but can’t see anything now. Did anyone else notice that?

Yes, the above was actually confirmed by Juddmonte.

Sun Maiden has just bolted up in a Salisbury maiden. Now 16s for the Oaks.

A nice performance Degaussed but knowing SMS I’d be very surprised if he let her run in the Oaks. Still very green and needs time I’d say…

    @Jonibake

Yes, I agree. She also holds a Ribblesdale entry which might be more up her trainer’s street.

I think it would be madness sending Sun Maiden to the Oaks. It would have a big negative effect potentially.

That looked an awful race she won today. The runner up came in with a RPR of 57. Interestingly White Light ran behind Lah Ti Dar the time before and was beaten 20 lengths, 8 lengths further than today, in finishing 10th.

Bet Victor go 12/1 Sun Maiden for the Oaks and that is scandalous cowardice. You could have had the same odds on Lah Ti Dar a fortnight ago.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

After Septembers withdrawal, I’ve been steaming in on La Ti Dar from 4s down.

Obviously some of you have far better prices but I still think she’s value. I’d have her 7/4 at the absolute most at this point.

With September out, her biggest danger has gone.

Sea Of Class is said to be unlikely to run in the Oaks. It sounds like William Haggas is going to have to call the owner to get the message across that he feels it’s not the race for her. The French version and potentially the Irish one if it pans out for her are the preferred options.

Give And Take will be going but I doubt that she won a good trial.

Lah Ti Dar looks the filly going places and a bit more improvement will see her win this I feel.

2/1 is starting to look the normal price for Lah Ti Dar now and barring a The Fugue moment, she should be tough to beat with more to come in all likelihood.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Wild Illusion should go well also.

My first thought after the Guineas was that Wild Illusion was a better bet at 16/1 than quite a lot of the other fillies odds around. I’m not sure she will stay as well as they might hope, I just feel she may be a maximum 10F filly. She has earned some respect though, I thought her form was miles ahead of Sea Of Class and well in advance of Give And Take.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

I really like Sea Of Class. She quickened several times in that race last week and I think she could end up the second best 3 y/o middle-distance filly in Europe. But according to the trainer she needs a bit more time so perhaps the French Oaks en route to a clash with Lah Ti Dah later in the season maybe in the Irish Oaks.

Took 100/1 on Forever Together (only £5 EW) before the trial at Chester. The more I watch that race back the more encouraged I am. Only really saw daylight 1f out and stayed on powerfully.

Yep, I had a good look at the e/w horses likely to turn up the other day and Forever Together is the one I came down on. Looks like she’s well on the up form wise, will appreciate the step up in trip and ground will be fine. Probably be third string behind Magical & Magic Wand but as long as this keeps the price long I’m happy with that.

This race has absolutely killed me.

First September, now Lah Ti Dar.

    It’s killed me.
