Ill buy into the hype now.. fantastic.
February 4, 2018 at 13:58 #1340793Samcro wins whatever he fancies at the festival. Sweet Jesus of Nazareth
February 4, 2018 at 14:00 #1340794That was astonishing
February 4, 2018 at 14:03 #1340795Very impressive indeed.
I suppose the only question mark left about Samcro is the ground. It’s heavy there today and it was heavy the last time. If he can win at Cheltenham on genuinely good ground then I think the world’s his oyster.
Very disappointed by Sharjah there, not sure what the reason for such a lacklustre run was. Maybe he found the ground a bit too much and is probably one to keep to a sounder surface going forward.
February 4, 2018 at 14:05 #1340796Samcro : shades of Golden Cygnet the way he won there . This horse is earmarked to go jumping . I hope connections stick to hurdles for a little while yet . Potential superstar .
Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
February 4, 2018 at 14:18 #1340800Samcro appeared, to my eyes at least, to be tying up on the run-in, instead of stretching further away from the opposition. That reflects the owner’s pre-race comments, which suggested that the run would be needed. There’s a lot more to come from him yet.
February 4, 2018 at 14:36 #1340802Lost a shoe, ran out of townends hands, won that with tonnes in hand
February 4, 2018 at 14:37 #1340803Have you ever seen a horse pull so hard over 3 miles and win with that in hand? I backed the 2nd and thought I was well in 2 furlongs out.
Fair play Total Recall
February 4, 2018 at 14:39 #1340804Was quite incredible chivers, the only thing he did right was jump well.
February 4, 2018 at 14:44 #1340805Well to be fair he was running off a mark 31 pounds below his chase mark but yes it was a very impressive performance from Total Recall
February 4, 2018 at 14:44 #1340806Nice to see people jumping on the hype.
As I said in October on the Neptune thread, he wins whatever novice he wants.
When was the last novice this exciting?
February 4, 2018 at 15:12 #1340814I love to see a horse jump like that all the way round after a bad fall. Roll on Cheltenham, the RSA should be a cracking event
February 4, 2018 at 15:13 #1340815When was the last novice this exciting?
Altior 2 seasons ago.
February 4, 2018 at 15:14 #1340817I hope they go rsa chivers! That flogas was packed full of talent, he won that well
February 4, 2018 at 15:25 #1340821Yes Chivers, lovely to see him so confident and happy from the off.
February 4, 2018 at 15:28 #1340822I meant novice hurdler Charles
February 4, 2018 at 15:29 #1340823Monalee given the perfect ride their. His jumping is a massive strength so let him attack the fences off the front. Like Coneygree in his pomp.
I make him the RSA bet at this stage.
