Am not talking out of my ass. Its pathetic that we have to tread on eggshells nowadays and thats all down to the PC brigade. There are bigger things to worry about than CB commenting on someones teeth
You are talking RIGHT out of your ass. How many times have you got to be told that it has NOTHING to do with being PC? Don’t you get it?
Go and bark up different tree m’boy.
April 12, 2009 at 14:28 #221421It’s a double banger weekend

I also believe in a jackboot society
as long as I have the boot on
As for Obama being a collectivist
it is something I will be thinking about
as I crack me egg.Strange that Prince Phil
sneaked in here

at 5 pm

would fit neatly into the barrow gang

Come to think of it
I have just checked the calendar
I think we are back there.
I’ll get my gun.Forget Liam Treadwell’s tooth
what about the sullying of flat grass racing
with the queens of sand and equitrack.
Even Ladbrokes are frightened

April 12, 2009 at 14:36 #221423What’s a "collectivist"?
Colin
April 12, 2009 at 14:51 #221430Not too sure, myself. Might be someone like Gamble who collects Easter eggs. Then again, it might be a lucky punter who goes to collect his/her winnings. It might be someone like Craig who gives generously to the Church collection. Perhaps someone might know what you call a collection of collectivists?
April 12, 2009 at 14:58 #221433"As for a personal attack on the President and First Lady…firstly it wasn’t a personal attack,"
I have no time for Obama. he is a two faced leech of a man, a discreduit to the USA, (bowing down to the Saudi’s, apologizing for no reason and being unable to say a sentence without umming and erring. A pitiful pathetic man, with twisted religious beliefs, on the fringe of associating with terrorists and black supremecy groups throughout his lifetime. A totally unsuitable man (and man is a generous term, here) with a hideous wife, together they are hideous representatives of our country intent on taxing us into oblivion to feed the government welfare programs while strangling peoples chance at the American dream in the name of their elitist version of equality which only works for those of a similar mind to them.
If Craig believes calling Barack a man too generous what would be a fairer representation?

Well, there goes race commentating at Dubai, I imagine.
Maxillon sums things up excellently in the Lounge.
All in all, we’ve probably all made terrific gaffes in our lives and rued the day. It’s all part of life’s reminders that we are merely human. I’m sure Craig is not a bad person but perhaps, in this instance, discretion would have been the better part of valour. Be more ruthless with yourself Craig if you want to progress in your career. By that I mean don’t feel obliged to share yourself (thoughts/opinions) on public forums. The media folk who keep themselves to themselves have far greater longevity simply because ‘the public’ prefer a sense of puzzlement and mystery about them.
April 12, 2009 at 15:46 #221440Can you imagine our very own Richard Hoiles on his soapbox, doing a
"Craig"! I can imagine Richard stopping traffic on the A1 to let the crows cross the road!April 12, 2009 at 16:07 #221442Can someone explain how a thread for a gap toothed jockey and a fat rug muncher has gone on to religion please?

Actually I give generously to the animal shelters where I have my beloved dogs from.
You still have not explained why or how I am bigoted. Or shall we agree that was just a rash thing said in the passion of the moment and leave it at that?
Craig.
April 12, 2009 at 18:11 #221452What’s a "collectivist"?
Colin
Collectivist is used in opposition to individualist.
Collectivist would apply to Plato, Socialists, Communists, Fascists and the Co-Op.
Would also apply to the kibbutzes in Israel.
The good of society leads to the subjugation of the individual.
The basic feature is that the means of production are owned collectively rather than by individuals.

April 12, 2009 at 20:13 #221479I’m glad to see that 4 years at the London School of Economics has finally come in handy.
April 12, 2009 at 20:40 #221485Craig you will find yourself labelled as a bigot simply because you dislike Obama who happens to be non white. Thats what happens in the UK in this day and age. If you claim not to like someone non white you are expected to explain in great detail why and prove yourself not to be a racist.
The left wing rulers through the media have drummed their idea of racism and non racism into the public subconcious for years and years now.
Its a bandwagon – If you are told something often enough ………………….. .

If you are not already familiar with his endeavours, Google Robert Tracinski. In my view the most consistent libertarian currently writing and an excellent commentator on US politics.
(I entirely share your view of President Obama.
Some, of course, dislike him – or indeed support him – because he is black
. That is utterly irrelevant to his worth. What makes him everything you say is that he is a collectivist with highly dubious associates.)
Since when has Obama been black? He is mixed race he is no more black than he is white despite what we’re constantly told.
94 / 97 percent? of black Americans voted for Obama by the way because he has black in him. Isn’t this racism? Wouldn’t white Britons be absolutely crucified for doing that against a black candidate?
Of course the black Americans may have voted Obama into power because of his party or policy …. anyone really believe that?

Sad, but I fear true.

When were you there? I was there for four years 1965-9.
April 12, 2009 at 22:08 #221502Black Americans have often voted for the Democratic Party. In the 1968 Presidential Election 92% of black americans voted for the Democratic Party candidate.
He wasn’t black.
