Brendan Powell and Oliver Sherwood take this one to post
Half-brother to City Chief, won twice over hurdles at 3m and 3m 1f, twice in chases at 3m and 3m 1f and in a point to point race at 3m including a Group 2 race.
Debut maker gets the weight from the experienced but penalised runners including Tara’s hall and pol Rodger.
Big price for a well bred horse and looks possible that speed will be a strong suit here.
Roger pol is sure to make a bold bid with listed race experience while Bryony Frost on Tara’s hall holds all the aces here with course win and the only unbeaten runner.

Catches the eye. Was denied a clear run on debut and could run well with improvement.
    Big fish
Win without south of the border @ 7/4

Nicky Henderson travels to Wales with a new recruit a winning pointer, a huge investment and his only runner of the day and expected to run well under Nico De Boinville.

    LARGY HILL
Looks to have a strong chance in this very classy bumper.
Carrying a five pound claimer course and distance should be enough to reverse the defeat in a graded bumper latest.

Captain teagues great run in third at Cheltenham will hopefully be franked in the next five minutes when
    KING WILLIAM RUFUS
    Win. 5pm
Takes to the field in the bumper at 5pm.
He was a good second in an NH flat race behind the Cheltenham hero.
Then he’d be the second best bumper horse in Britain.

Willie Mullins Did I Ask you That
Will improve for being collared close home by an Elliott runner benefitting from a half stone claimer last time. That said they were well clear of the field and he will come on immensely for the run.
The issue here though is the half a stone claim which the champion trainer conceeds again and Mint Boy who had the gunner yeats well behind in third when second to Firefox last time may be good enough here again under a seven pound claimer.
Gavin Cromwell is on full throttle again after just missing out with Stumptown at Cheltenham.
MINT BOY win without DID I ASK YOU THAT @ 11/8

    Over 5.75 Lengths @ 13/8
There looks to be a lot of speed amongst the inexperienced runners here.
Including swedish icon related to multiple winners and a Frankel runner which cost 130k as a yearling.
Clovis island has experience and any of these in this small field to kick clear looks a possibility.

Good listed form at Cheltenham followed by narrow defeat gives this runner a good chance here.

I didn’t see it but that O’Brien horse won it well. Do you remember when Timmy Murphy, who was Fergal’s landlord at the time, used to ride his bumper horses? The had an amazing strike rate!

Carefully Selected runs in the aintree national this afternoon and deserves a favourable mention as a winner of a bumper.
Pulled up in a chase at Cheltenham festival three years ago, very lightly raced 11 year old and although not the typical profile of a winner, trainer Willie Mullins has secured the services of the top Irish apprentice here.
He has an outside chance under this Cheltenham winning jockey.

Some very good collaborative form with other pointers to lay at the door of this big money Irish raider.

Might cause an upset for in-form yard here.
Favourite however is top notch despite a penalty. Half stone claimer alleviates that.
    I’M RAVENOUS

    Also has fair claims here.

Good job I back Phil Kirby’s horses blind, even though there was no money apart from mine going on his 66/1 winner at Cheltenham. Would have been a sickener if I’m missed it!

    Willie Mullins.
“We have two nice types in the Goffs Bumper. Jody rides Milo Lises and Patrick has chosen Predators Gold which could be an indication that he might fare best of the two. However, this is a very hot renewal and hopefully they will both run well.”
Looks wide open but the favourite of Gordon Elliott’s has dropped out.
    So
    Predators Gold
    Win
    gets my dart 🎯
