December 19, 2024 at 15:51 #1715698What a way to bow out for Al Dancer. As much as it’s a shame that we won’t see him again, I’m glad that he went out in style
December 19, 2024 at 21:40 #1715721Picks Lad has been retired. Had one run last season in a 3 mile Novice Chase and won nicely off 110 (raised to 122) and looked a potential staying handicapper. He picked up an injury after that win but had returned to training. But he’s now got another injury (lameness) and the vets advice to retire him has thankfully been taken.
Harry Derham shot a video for owners with Picks explaining everything. Unless anything unforeseen happens he’ll make a recovery and be found a nice life outside racing.December 22, 2024 at 12:28 #1716060Do Deuce retired on Friday due to injury

March 1, 2025 at 23:34 #1721670Michael Hourigan retired; great man, met him a few times.
Never got a chance to ask him why Beef or Salmon didn’t have a novice chasing season, but went straight in to open races; think his 3rd chase was what is now the Savilles.March 2, 2025 at 09:46 #1721690Good Boy Bobby was also retired yesterday
