I’ve followed Angels Breath ever since his early days at Nicky Hendersons and was annoyed with myself for not backing him when he won a couple of races ago. Was so worried seeing him pulling up so quickly. Let’s hope his treatment works and he has a long and happy retirement.

    Galvin retired.
In a post on X, Gordon Elliott wrote: “Happy retirement to Galvin. After a very successful career, which included winning the Grade 1 Savills Chase and a second in the American National, Galvin will enjoy his retirement with his owner Ronnie Bartlett. Thanks for the memories Galvin.”

You mean the handicapper didn’t have enough heart to drop him far enough in the weighys for Skeleton’s liking……..

Caius Chorister is off to the paddocks. Let’s hope she doesn’t find her first partner totally overrated…

Any Second Now announced as having been retired by Ted Walsh on ITV Racing.

His second place aged 13 in today’s Irish National was another marvellous performance. Not many horses can have been placed twice in both the Aintree and Irish Nationals

Wishing him a long and happy retirement.

Brilliant stuff, brilliant horse. Glad to see him retire in one piece. Not bad to be a runner-up in an Irish GN at 12 and 13.

All the best to him and well done to JP and connections for taking this decision and keeping him sound for TEN SEASONS!!!!

A few names that have caught my eye on the non-racing agreements list recently:

    Tornado Flyer
    Bennys King
    Solo
    Enrilo
    Fidelio Vallis
    Dr Kananga
    Wakool
    Voix Du Reve

Wishing all the recent retirees long and happy retirements.

Asterion retired? One less cliff horse for me.

I hope they both enjoy long and happy retirements.

    Any news on Music Society?
I emailed the trainer but he’s ghosting me after I mapped out a mediocre 22 run seson for him ending in The Prix de l’Abbaye
