Confucius 2-1
June 12, 2026 at 14:13 #1768708I love this race. Had great success with it and been part of many an opening day double or treble but this field looks mediocre in comparison.
Some big yards without a runner.
Ruler’s Pride each way; from the family of Campanelle, a Royal Ascot and Prix Morny winner at 2
June 12, 2026 at 22:41 #1768768Great Barrier Reef won’t be running at the meeting if the drift in both races are anything to go by
Either that or Confucius must be a beast
With not loads to go on I’ve taken a punt on Richard Hannon’s Cut a Dash 20/1
Hannon has been in hot form lately and this horse looked good over 5f and was strongest in the last furlong and took a bit of pulling up. 6f won’t trouble himGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 14, 2026 at 10:51 #1768867Great Barrier Reef declared, as well as Confucius.
June 15, 2026 at 14:08 #1768922Moore choosing Confucius… I’m happy with Cut a Dash being drawn next to him. 20’s is down to 9’s… I’m guessing Hannon has been gushing about him. His debut was nice performance anyway.
Great Barrier Reef is drawn the other side of the track so I’ll do him aswell although already done myself out of a stake money on him in the Norfolk.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

June 16, 2026 at 13:06 #1769038Just took out my darts:
Bull Shark 100/1 EW
Jaan Ki Tukri 100/1 EW
The Harv 50/1 EWWithout my darts I went for Mrair 20/1 EW
June 16, 2026 at 13:38 #1769049Two selections for me …Siouxperb and Cut A Dash but in different ew bets.
June 16, 2026 at 14:02 #1769059Wary of any being too confident at Ascot with those large fields and going variations across the track. Bull Shark cut a nice dash for Confucius at the Naas trial and Levey may oblige in that respect this afternoon! Fav is a late foal but looked impressive there and handled the undulations quite well. Reckon he is different class to his stablemate and hope Ryan rides him prominently.
Royal Heritage is also a late foal but looked like an old pro on his Hamilton debut and is my possible saver selection.
June 16, 2026 at 15:05 #1769077Michael Buckley has one running here called God Given Talent which is 28/1 right now. Interesting to see how he runs.
Added The Ginger Kid at 22/1 EW…

June 16, 2026 at 15:20 #1769083Well done Nathan.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 16, 2026 at 15:24 #1769086WD Nathan, your shark handled the fast ground best! Ryan seemed to be look after the favourite on it.
June 16, 2026 at 15:31 #1769087WD Nathan
June 16, 2026 at 15:41 #1769089Zilzal it was a good price. Would have been 2/1 himself if Ryan Moore picked the right one
