Saw a nice wee snippet on Instagram of Ado McGuinness talking about Saltonstall’s retirement…he certainly appreciates what the horse did for them.
Nice picture on Facebook today of Phil Kirby’s Winfola having a lovely time in retirement having being nursed back to health after losing her foal and nearly losing her life a while back.
I’ve been wondering what happened to Blaklion. His lass Fay just posted on Twitter to say he’s back with her and can expect a fabulous retirement.

Monkfish has also been retired, he is one the horses competing at the Dublin Horse Show this week

Jim Goldie Racing reports that the stayer Sir Chauvelin has been retired. He has gone to a new home with his work rider Johnnie Curry. The 12-year-old won 12 out of 85 races on the flat (Official Rating 106 at best) and 4 from 10 over hurdles(Best OR 134).
What a fantastic racehorse Ropey Guest has been to own, wish him well in his retirement.
I know Euroalian will be be breathing a sigh of relief as he was also his cliff horse 🐎 .Free Wind will produce some lovely foals for the future. So glad she could be treated after that incident leaving the stalls.
