Happy retirement to Vintage Clouds
VF x
April 2, 2022 at 20:20 #1590874I was hoping to see Vintage Clouds on this thread after today.
It was a great day when he won at Cheltenham last year. Looking at his record this year, it was clear that time had started to catch up with him.
A magnificent servant to his connections. He richly deserves a long and happy retirement.
April 2, 2022 at 23:01 #1590902Yes me too CAS. After Midnight Shadow from the same stable, I was dreading lightning striking twice.
Happy retirement VC
April 13, 2022 at 22:47 #1593582The wonderfully durable sprinter Tropics is among the latest additions to the BHA’s non-racing agreements list. He finished 2nd in the July Cup way back in 2014 and 2015, and his final run was in January this year. Wishing him and all the other recent retirees long and happy retirements.

April 20, 2022 at 13:02 #1594666Tropics must have been a joy to own.
Happy retirement to him.
Still waiting for Bristol De Mai’s name to appear here. Nobody deserves it more than he does and if he could talk he would tell his owners he’s never going to win them a Grand Natiional his best days are really behind him now. He’s been a lovely horse to follow.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 24, 2022 at 12:02 #1595486Librisa Breeze added to the non racing agreements bha. Happy retirement

April 24, 2022 at 13:18 #1595493Finished lame in his final race at Chelmsford. Hope he is OK.
April 24, 2022 at 13:28 #1595494Hopefully the fact that someone has taken the trouble to set up a non-racing agreement for him is a good sign Tonge.
A few other retirees to have caught my eye on the NRAs list recently:
Smooth Stepper
Antony

April 29, 2022 at 02:11 #1596033Ballyboker Bridge retired after his victory aged 15 in Thursday’s La Touche Cup at Punchestown. What a horse.
Wishing him a long and happy retirement
April 29, 2022 at 05:28 #1596035He ran and jumped like a 5 year old yesterday …. One of the training performances if the season , 15 and still loving his job

April 30, 2022 at 20:52 #1596420What a way to go out

I keep hoping to hear or see Anibale fly name up soon , run weekend Punchestown but didn’t show any love for the game no more. he doesn’t owe anything and I feel he should be retired
VF x
April 30, 2022 at 23:16 #1596445Stormy Ireland ran her last race today. Already covered by Blue Bresil. Wishing her all the best for her new career.
I have also been hoping to see Anibale Fly here since the Grand National. He did run at Punchestown in the 3.10 today. Started favourite but pulled up. Hasn’t been placed since May 2021, and that a poor 3rd. I think he has had enough.
May 1, 2022 at 11:40 #1596478Dawson City retired after finishing 3rd in the race that claimed the life of his old adversary Captain Drake at Cheltenham on Friday (possibly a factor for connections). His lass posted a nice tribute:
Oh Dawson City, my old friend💜
Happy Retirement to the most talented & kind horse I’ll ever have the pleasure of working with.
This guy never knew when he was beat & would run through a brick wall for you.
He retires safe, sound and happy. Thank you for everything Midnight.May 4, 2022 at 22:11 #1596942Cyrname has been retired not totally unexpected. Hope he enjoys second career elsewhere
