I’m sorry to come on after the event with a price which is gone, but I really do like Notebook. I took 25/1 a good while back. I’m really excited about him.
January 14, 2020 at 08:46 #1479754Im glad i spotted this before fakir and notebook had a race cashed out my fakir bet and now i have a Thyme Hill (7/1) & Notebook (7/1) double very happy with that
January 14, 2020 at 12:22 #1479764Watched the race again yesterday
Notebook looked massive compared to fakir, see no reason he wouldn’t continue to improve as he fills out that frame
I do want to see bapaume over 2 miles, he has jumped very well so far but got a bit tired at the end
I like him as an outsider for this or the marsh
January 15, 2020 at 14:26 #1479832My early call on 19/10 for Precious Cargo has gone a bit pear shaped with that run there. Cashed out the 25s tbh. Don’t see him good enough, even after jumping well for most.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 15, 2020 at 14:54 #1479834thought it was very strange riding from Nico to ask nothing more than hands and heels the last 150 yards or so.
January 20, 2020 at 23:38 #1480352Not all that taken by the head of the market. Brewin’upastorm looks massively under the radar to me.

Little late here Kev, but imagine it was due to the ground + knowing he was probably beat.
I’ll be keeping him in mind for Aintree if he was to rock up there, for all he disappointed last year.
Not sure he’s an Arkle winner.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 31, 2020 at 20:21 #1481457I think Cash Back is bonkers enough to go off at a savage pace, burn them all off and has enough of an engine to get home. As long as he doesn’t make a brutal mistake I think he has a good chance.
I have taken the 10-1 and also backed him for tomorrow at 13-2; I think Townend has made the wrong choice (I am a fan of both Melon and Bapaume and have had both of them in my TTF in the past and particularly like Bapaume’s neat jumping…but I think Cash Back is a more exciting two miler than either).
January 31, 2020 at 23:27 #1481481Brewinupastorm beating Cepage and Oldgrangewood at Aintree in November is looking a serious bit of form now.
February 1, 2020 at 01:17 #1481491It was riders onthe storm who beat them at aintree
If anything wins the irish arkle with any authority tomorrow it wins this imo
And if something hoses up it’s one for the multis with benie, tiger roll and paisley park

February 1, 2020 at 14:10 #1481584Notebook has some engine to do what he did prerace and still win after a proper gallop. Worthy Arkle favourite I think.
February 1, 2020 at 14:13 #1481585Cracking race, two good horses there
February 1, 2020 at 14:17 #1481586Both melon and bapaume got badly out paced there in a truly run race
They will no doubt be going up in trip
Was very impressed with cashback battling so hard, when notebook jumped into the lead I thought he was going to win by much further
Anyone on notebook or cashback at decent prices for the arkle looks to have a cracking chance
I’m on notebook at 25/1 and will likely have a saver on cashback at some point
February 1, 2020 at 14:18 #1481587I’m feeling good about my Notebook bet now. Stick some ear plugs etc in at Cheltenham keep the lid on.
February 1, 2020 at 14:21 #148158825-1 was a good early spot well done. I only got 6s bit late to the party but much shorter now so all good. Fakir would be better off in the Marsh Chase Cash Back won’t give him any peace up front.
February 1, 2020 at 14:25 #1481589Hopefully Rachel sits just off cashback and global citizen then picks up the pieces turning for home
