No market for this yet, but if expect one in next few days
Plenty of eyecatchers in there, but most of them surely have other priorities, not least Quai De Bourbon, and Shanbally Kid
Thought Folly Master an interesting type, and the fact he runs over hurdles today, has got my interest
From the Cromwell yard, I’ve been watching the progress of Born Braver, and he’s very high on the shortlist
Elliott won this last year with Fortunedefortunata, and he’d just about be the pick of his for me, along with Lucky Lyreen, but anything he sends will obviously have to be looked at. I’d suspect there’s better to come from My Trump Card too.
My Trump Card was just behind Built By Ballymore out the places last time, and he’s another who could outrun (expected) bigger odds. Another horse I’m very interested in. Put him up for a few races the last two Cheltenham Festivals, and should progress
I haven’t given up on Buachaillbocht, but he’s perhaps one for The Spring
I’d be keen to have an Antepost in this, but a waiting game at the moment
(Very) Tentative Shortlist
Born Braver
Built By Ballymore
FortunedefortunataFinal Decs
Very much like The Thyestes, got to Final Decs, and not massively confident. Started chipping away though at this pairWith Besuforts out, I’ve added Built By Ballymore
Built By Ballymore 12’s
Fortunedefortunata 28’s EWFebruary 13, 2026 at 10:55 #1754461I’ll be with two here, but im obviously not sure right now with what prices I’ll be getting.
My main selection would be Built By Ballymore, with Lucky Lyreen. I’ll be happy if both are over 10/1
February 15, 2026 at 11:04 #1754834I’ve already punted Ballymore for Cheltenham , he stinks of a hidy horse , headgear on today so he’s the main play with a uncle Pat saver

February 15, 2026 at 12:45 #1754848Gone for Koori Star (7s) to maintain Mark Walsh’s good run
February 15, 2026 at 14:06 #1754865PATTER MERCHANT 8/1. Very unexposed and I think this marathon trip on softer ground is exactly what he wants.
February 15, 2026 at 14:18 #1754871Binge Worthy ew 4pl for me. He has to improve for the step up in trip but there’s stamina in the pedigree- he’s a nephew of Minella Indo.
February 15, 2026 at 14:45 #1754875I backed My Immortal twice at the start of the season …I hope the stewards take a cattle prod to Connels testicles
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 15, 2026 at 14:58 #1754876It’s not a big betting yard and he went off at 40s , having only dropped 4lb for those two runs, but sympathies it’s an absolute sickener when you abandon a horse then it wins at that sort of price. I’ve done it plenty of times. Plus O’Connell would give you the red roaring skitter as one of my colleagues would say, so extra sympathy for you.
(I see Ksar Fatal runs on the card also, trainer managed to get a little dig in at Mullins during his recent stable tour when he got to this horse. The chippy little puke).February 15, 2026 at 15:00 #1754877I’ve that backed Green , I feel better as one of main bet of the day came in for OMerea , if Inis Orr can do the business I’ll forgive him …
