Monbeg Genius was probably the standout for me, but couldn’t consider him just now, as he’s got an entry at Exeter
Val Dancer will always be of interest, but off the back of two hard races, I won’t risk him just now either. He finished behind Aworkinprogress last time, and couldn’t rule him out either, but I’m more inclined to wait till Spring now with him
Might be a bit of a stretch, but a horse I’ve never shown an interest in before, Famous Bridge, is one I’m keeping an eye on for the next couple of months
Definitely no bet for now
Final Decs – Monbeg Genius 12’s
February 3, 2026 at 14:52 #1753442They should rename this race.
How many entered for Haydock are even entered for Aintree? About three or four!
February 3, 2026 at 17:26 #1753451One of my old favs, Bobby, Famous Bridge but He’s not been himself all season and something is amiss or he’s just had enough for now. Was always a pure grinder but seems to find nothing off the bridle this season. I wonder if he lost his appetite for the business after a hard race in The Ultima.

February 10, 2026 at 18:47 #1754199Myretown is surely gonna put it all in one day. Isn’t he? He’s well handicapped. But this is last chance saloon for him now with me.
February 11, 2026 at 22:15 #1754326I’m not sure that taking the 4-1 just now on Myretown was that sensible right now, but I’ve taken it anyway
February 12, 2026 at 15:13 #1754367Neo King could be an improving type. Backed him at 20/1 EW.

February 13, 2026 at 21:43 #1754529I see Lucinda is back with a bang: 3 winners, a 2nd and a 3rd from 5 today. So I’ll back Myretown for this and at 40s for the Grand National.
Good luck
JoeFebruary 13, 2026 at 22:21 #1754534I wasn’t ready for Lucinda’s return to form, but that will make things more interesting. Hopefully the meeting will go ahead.

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 14, 2026 at 06:48 #1754557Myretown is a talking horse just like Ahoy Senor and can’t jump properly you’ve fallen for another one and got sucked in again lol. Joking aside, as talented as he might be, i’ve not been liking his iffy jumping this season, and likely won’t be any easier to get the feet up and over on this ground today if the race is still on. So went with Deafening Silence ew instead who finished 4 and a quarter lengths behind a horse now rated 166 last time and runs here off 134.
February 14, 2026 at 10:41 #1754584I will back my old pal Git Maker for this. He gets his ground and is on a very dangerous mark. Hope he jumps better then last time.
Git Maker 12/1
February 14, 2026 at 12:06 #1754605Holokea 7-1.
The more I know the less I understand.
