When a horse like this pops up it can help to say **** the statistics my intelligence/judgement is more important than them!
Anyone who reads my drivel when I’m sober will recollect me saying just that about a horse who got beat in the Dante but went on to win the Derby, his name escapes me!
I’ve had 3 Brandy and Cokes and a couple of spliffs tonight and I’m thinking yeh **** the stats,My Tent or Yours
would have carried the lot of em!
Remeber this I ish Thee Anti-P*ssed King, ledgerdairy rooooooler of the King Dom of Porn…….Or sumat! ‘Foreskin’ is wot I Peach and goodnight!

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 4, 2013 at 23:10 #431348Nice one
March 4, 2013 at 23:21 #431350Cant say I had you down for one to dabble with the wacky backy Gord!!
Anyway i’ve dived in and backed this ‘gangly’ Mail De Bievre without Sprinter Sacre. What i’d like now is for Finnians to be saved for Aintree with both Sizing Europe and Cue Card sent dont the Ryan Air route…..where they’d only be playing second fiddle to First Lientenant, everyone knows that right!!
Anyway, i know your portfolio consists of several JP horses this year and here’s another that im eyeing up, especially as he’s trained by Jonjo!
Dursey Sound
is entered in the Neptune for which i’d give him no chance given the quality of that race. From what i can see he’s entered in just the single handicap (Conditionals Handicap Hurdle) and and you can get 20/1 with most bookmakers (NRNB of course)!! Now thats not bad for a horse that to my eye has a decent turn of foot, will certainly enjoy faster ground and has some decent form with this Mullins hotpot Annie Power!
Food for thought n all that.

March 5, 2013 at 00:47 #431358Sorry to disappoint you lads, but Attaglance will p*ss it. The Centenary. Unless it’s worse than good to soft. (Famous last words…)
March 5, 2013 at 09:04 #431367TAPK – it could be said that Like-A-Butterfly was a fortunate winner of the race that day as Adamant Approach tipped up at the last when it was coming to win the race. I was down at the last hurdle that day and Ruby was gutted. I’ll never forget Ruby throwing his whip into the ground in anger. Not sure if this eases your anguish though. Good luck with MTOY.
No it doesn’t ease my anguish McA,nor my headache! At least its a stat in my favour!!I’ve got to cling to something as the stats boys will be calling MTOY the Lay of the meeting on those figures!!
Good of you to contribute though,Cheers.March 5, 2013 at 09:10 #431370Cant say I had you down for one to dabble with the wacky backy Gord!!

Well spotted OLAS,I put
Dursey sound
up on here to beat ‘The New One’!!
He’s a horse I have my eye on too! As for ‘Dabblin’ well all I can say is I’ll mix it with the company I keep,I learnt the art of ‘smokin’ when I was in Africa mixin it with the Pygmies, weird effect it had on me too,I felt I was bigger than everyone!!
……….Still do eh? (only jokin)!!

Grimes you snake in the grass,me being big on
Cape Tribulation
and that has to respect
Attaglance
strictly on what the pair acheived in that historic double last year, his hurdle rating makes him a Jewson Horse but
Carlito Brigantes
makes him a Gold cup horse, there’s the difference! And both get into the bloody ‘Centenary’! Incredible planning by both camps methinks
March 5, 2013 at 09:19 #431372William Hill have just gone 7/1
Jezki
!!
There Odds compilers were with me last night smokin the Ganja mind! Thats too big!Edit-Ladbrokes go 100/30 ‘Jezki’ so have phoned Hills to confirm price thinking its a Typo for 7/2 and No its a confirmed 7/1.No way should that horse be 7/1,he’s a cert for a place!
March 5, 2013 at 10:09 #431374The Wise man doesn’t fight to the death, that path is littered with the bones of the Stubborn. The Wise man senses Danger long before the walls come tumbling down, the bones of the naieve are found in the rubble. The Wise man keeps his head down when those blowing trumpets are having there’s blown off.The Wise man doesn’t throw caution to the wind,he uses it to protect his interests. The Wise man respects others opinions and doesn’t ram his own down everyones throats. The Wise man feeds off the table of those who share and contributes himself. The Wise man knows when to hold em and when to fold em.The Wise man has learnt through years of experience, watching, listening and learning,he’s made the wrong decisions and paid for it but comes out stronger. The Wise man can play the Clown but gets the last laugh. The Wise man may surrender a battle in order to win a War………..Funny how I can apply all the above to this years ‘Supreme’ hurdle!
March 5, 2013 at 11:25 #431385TAPK are you going to give Magnanimity 1 more chance in the JLT? 6th in it last year off 3 pounds higher mark and in my opinion in a lot better form this year, could this finally be his big pot? Or will he go somewhere else? At 20/1 NRNB i don’t really mind either way,i’m going to chance a few coppers

I agree, 7/1 looks far too big for Jezki, but William Hill are
not
nrnb yet Gord which may tell its own story. They must surely have a reason for pushing the horse out that far? Why hasn’t the horse run this year? Although at the moment betfair are only 6.2/1 there’s a hell of a lot of money waiting to Lay the horse compared to every other runner! May be a case of buyer beware.
Value Is EverythingMarch 5, 2013 at 12:25 #431393Imperial Commander
is out of the Gold cup with a Lung infection apparently.Bloody shame he was a good un to me!

I’m a great believer in judging horses for myself so to speak Ginge and I haven’t seen anything from
Jezki
that would suggest he’s a better horse than
My Tent or yours
,I too would be concerned he hasn’t raced in earnest this year as it really is the perfect prep.My problem with this fellow is I am being told by very reliable sources that he quote "Is a Machine" and that he will win next years Champion hurdle,JP has bought him for that purpose,I’m also told MTOY will make a better Chaser than Hurdler so my own dilemma worsens having backed MTOY to win next years Champion at 33/1,I have been offered 40/1 about
Jezki
doing the double and that looks like the route I will take as if he does run away with the ‘Supreme’ he’ll be 10/1 fav for next years Champion hurdle! I’m trying to stand firm with MTOY this year and really dont want to bet against him with anything! You being the King of Savers will only encourage me to do just that on ‘Jezki’ I know, particularly when we’re being dangled a 7/1 Carrot that should be 7/2!!
Decisions,decisions eh?

Hills are doing one a day this week, HF at 3/1 yesterday, Jezki 7/1 today, NRNB but limited stakes, aprox £50 max.
