I must be lost then…Presenting Percy wins this.
March 11, 2018 at 15:02 #1345722Starting to look pretty ominous for MONALEE fans in the RSA.
Being backed on betfair for JLT, back into 2nd fav on exchange.
Taking a walk in the RSA. People are asking for 10.5 on it now.
It’s not big money and it’s not a huge drift yet but it appears to be on its way to the JLT.
March 11, 2018 at 15:07 #1345723Indeed. JLT would be the right race for him too I think.
March 11, 2018 at 15:18 #1345725fingers crossed JLT for Monalee, and then Al Boum Photo can take PP on

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 11, 2018 at 16:35 #1345732I think you overestimate Monalee. In a way I want him to turn up as people will say that EE was lucky and only won because Monalee went JLT (though these people will have been corrected by the 2019 gold cup).
Maybe drift is much ado about nothing as it looks to have steadied up again after drifting out bigger than black Corton.
March 11, 2018 at 16:41 #1345733You definitely cant say anyone on this forum overestimates a horse LOL
March 11, 2018 at 16:46 #1345734I take the much ado about nothing back.
Monalee now into clear fav for JLT on betfair.
JLT Announcement is surely imminent
March 11, 2018 at 17:14 #1345736Seems like someoen thinks so anyway, even though hes jocked up in rsa
March 11, 2018 at 18:15 #1345739Mashed potato. Completely mashed.
March 11, 2018 at 20:08 #1345754Tommy Segal fancies Elegant Escape to win this race.
March 11, 2018 at 20:25 #1345755Well Potato that’s enough of a reason to rule Elegant escape out of winning then
March 11, 2018 at 21:04 #1345758Teabaghead The Incredible writes to Tom Segal on the RP Q&A an hour ago… https://www.racingpost.com/news/cheltenham-2018/cheltenham-festival-2018-your-questions-answered-by-tom-segal/322065
“Tom I genuinely believe that Elegant Escape will go on to win 3-4 gold cups after his emphatic win in the RSA on Wednesday and will be classed as better than both KAUTO star and arkle.
Do you think I should stay more grounded and say he will only win 3 gold cups or am I right to be so confident?”Potato you really do need to lay off of the crack pipe
March 11, 2018 at 21:40 #1345759Is Black Corton the forgotten horse of the Festival? Gets his ground, will stay and jockey of the moment on board. One of my main fancies of the week!
March 11, 2018 at 21:49 #1345763Completely agree Peter.
March 11, 2018 at 21:58 #1345768He will go well and has a good chance of top 3 in a vintage year for GB in the RSA.
I wouldn’t say he is a forgotten horse though as he is currently 2nd fav on betfair.
March 11, 2018 at 22:03 #1345770All I can think of re BC is The Curse Of The Feltham. Otherwise, he’s the best horse in this IMHO.
BlueSky @pghenn.bsky.social
So don't run, just like the others always do
March 11, 2018 at 22:14 #1345771Tom chose not to publish or answer my original question:
Tom will you be joining me in doing the conga on Wednesday following Elegant Escapes emphatic win in the RSA or will you be opting for a more refined celebration?
