Should I be worried that that is the best offer I’ve had all week?

For all I couldn’t help but start this thread with the stupid title I thought I’d read on ‘Unions…’, I’m glad I’m not the only one on here who enjoys cooking!
Onions actually have a fair lot of use in my house too…. the basis for my favourite recipes….home made curry, seafood risotto, oh yes and with steak too!, and home made pizza, stuffing for roast dinners, and best for getting in from a cold day at the races in the NH season, a good slow-cooked venison casserole with plenty of red wine gravy.
Given the amounts of olives we go through at home, not to mention all the garlic and a multitude of herbs also nicked out of the garden throughout the year, it’s a wonder I’ve ever been asked out on a date in my whole life…

Congratulations guys, well done

Hurrah! Well done. The correct answer was of course Arsington Sodmonster.
Oh hang on no it’s not.
Nope

Cheers Grays, I should think she’s quite relieved at no longer having to be the Northants equivalent of Aguiwhatsit, I don’t think anyone needs that in this world. I must say your explanation was a lot more useful than Zome’s (!!), sounds like it could well be worth the while.
Not sure if I’ll make the gig but we’ll see, Towcester is the main plan of the day provided Norfolk doesn’t have other plans for me over the weekend…honestly you hear all through your life that selling your house is the stuff of stress, then you go and try to and who’d have thunk it, turns out it is!

I know what you mean Moehat, sometimes I wonder if I’ve decided after all these years if I like them or not….I guess you just have to be in the right frame of mind…
Although their lyric "just another girl who wants to rule the world" was my quote of choice on myspace for a fair while to be fair…
Zome is trying to convince me to go to a gig after Towcester this Sunday in Oxford to see Ida Maria and someone called VV Brown
She wasn’t really selling it to me when she described the latter as "the one who does that blood song that sounds like the monster mash"
As my internet connection here is too tenuous to risk youtube, does anyone have the foggiest what the mare is on about?
Yours in somewhat worried anticipation….
Well done guys!
Damn shame to read this, I’d hoped he’d continue to do well as a sire as he was a horse I really liked….glad he has a Classic winner to his name at least.
Hope it’s okay to join this, was just nudged in the right direction by Gaz!
