I have also backed Continuous, I also have him in my Ten to Follow line in the Forums competition.

As GM23 says,The Foxes ran well yesterday as did White Birch which is encouraging.

Continuous is bred well, by Hearts Cry, who like August Rodin’s sire Deep Impact is a son of Sunday Silence and his damsire is Galileo, same as Auguste Rodin.

His dam is from Female Family no 1, a good family.

Drawn 1, hope Ryan Moore gets him out of the gate sharply.

I have made an entry, might well change it before the deadline.

    Good luck to all.

I have put a few shillings to win on, Nostrum and Silver Knott.

Also a few shillings on Slipofthepen. Has has only won a Kempton Maiden, maybe he’ll get entered at the Craven meeting and run in the Guineas or maybe not ?

The government publish an England only “Index of Multiple Deprevation” I think the latest was in 2019.

The worst place (Neighbourhoods) to live in the list is Jaywick in Essex, the next 8 are in Blackpool and the 10th is Anfield.

In the worst 100 Neighbourhoods, only 5 are south of the Severn/Wash line, Jaywick, Yarmouth, 2 coastal areas in Suffolk, and Planet Thanet.

Blackpool has 17 of the worst 100 and Middlesborough has 3.

Will anything change when the next update is done ?

You could send Chezza some Hot Yellow Pepper Sauce.

They have a tote there but it might break down. Once when I was there a message came over the tannoy, “anyone with a win ticket from the last race, please come back on Tuesday to collect”, Good job I had not won as I was flying home on the Monday.

The colt tipped on the forum, looked fantastic walking round,
A good price in the ring, my monies down,

They get to the bushes, the colt eases to the front,
I’m punching the air shouting go on yes, my heart thumping like an old water pump,

Into the dip and .. oh no, the jockey is rowing and the colt’s changing his legs,
The rest cruise past and fly on ahead,

I curse the tipster, You can guess the name,
I walk slowly back to the paddock to wait and start again.

Antarah is not entered for the Dante which you would expect if all was well. I quite like Magisteral who does have a Dante entry and has good breeding. By Frankel and out of a Darshaan Mare.

I have a few shillings antepost on Revich to win at just over 55’s on the Betfair exchange Hopefully he will run, he is currently 14th in the list.

Last year he started badly, but made up a lot of ground late on finishing 6th.

I will do a place bet on the exchange on the day.

“i’ve got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It’s got a bell and a basket and things to make look got.”

My youngest had a bike stolen years ago but luckily the local control room CCTV operatives saw it and the thieves did not get far. :yahoo:

A small island I went to when backpacking in 1975 was Ios. Had a good time there. No idea what it’s like now. There is no airport so you go by boat from Pireas.

Poros is another small island that I also enjoyed time on.

Lay: Battaash in the Kings Stand.

Each Way; Revich in the Royal Hunt Cup, if making the cut.

What Purwell says above has reminded me of when I was young, many years ago, and I used to take an older couples dog for walks. The dog was fit and well cared for and well trained. It was a cross between an Alsatian and a Labrador. One day I took it out into the country and we were walking along the edge of a ploughed and raked field when the dog saw a hare in the field. Its predatory instinct kicked in and it ran at the hare. The hare, being prey, ran off. The dog ran faster and just when it was closing on the hare, the hare whipped around and ran in the opposite direction. The dog running at top speed was unable to turn like that and by the time it had turned around the hare was someway off. This continued a few times until the hare reached the edge of the field, went into the ditch and up the other side and through the hedge where the dog could not follow.

One against one, the hare won.

If you go on to the Betfair exchange site there is a link to the Tote which I sometimes use if I want to place a exacta etc. The bet is done through my Betfair account not though a Tote account.
