Anyone have any fancies for this?
Having looked through the race for a couple of days there are three that stand out to me currently.
First is the obvious Aiden horse, Victoria Road 6/1, you have to respect any horse he sends to this race (and I’m going on the assumption that this horse will be sent over for the French derby).
But the two I’m more interested in are American Flag 8/1, who won a good race, beating some good horses very well last time out.
The other one is Feed The Flame 10/1 (though only priced up with bet365 currently), who won incredibly easily on the bridle last time out, also against some well respected horses.

May 25, 2023 at 19:21 #1649053I’m on board as well lads with Feed the flame.
Starting to think even the 8/1 is going to look very generous come next weekend. His trainer has confirmed he will be supplemented and the second he demolished last time has just come out and won a G3 tonight.

June 1, 2023 at 19:48 #1649805Smallest field in 20 years declared for Sunday. Probably takes the nightmare draw out of the equation.

June 3, 2023 at 15:30 #1650289Happy with the 10’s on Feed the Flame
had a little on Boogie Woogie 9/4 later on in the Prix de Royaumont with O’Brien’s running better now than when she last run

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"June 3, 2023 at 18:52 #1650340I’m envious of those prices for Feed The Flame. I’ll go in at 4/1 and also 5/2 without Big Rock (but more on 4/1). I fully respect the chances of Big Rock but 1. He’s stepping up in trip 2. He has to prove effective on better ground.
That said, he has been mightily impressive so far.
Feed The Flame won like a special horse last time and with the runner up franking the form, it’s a no-brainer that he has to be the selection at 4-1.Good luck players.
June 3, 2023 at 19:01 #1650341Boringly I’ll just go with the AOB horse Continuous. I put him in a treble with Vadsa Queen at Tramore tonight and What Path at Kilbeggan tomorrow to razz up the price a bit.
June 3, 2023 at 20:45 #1650360The one that sets the bar on form is a double-digit price.
By a sprinter, but plenty of stamina on the dam’s side.

Will be tough to beat if given a soft lead
June 3, 2023 at 22:25 #1650381Took 13/2 on Continuous
He was only 1 1/2 lengths behind The Foxes on his sole start this season, The Foxes already had a run behind him that day and he ran very credible in the Derby today after stumbling at the start.
Considering how much Aidan’s horses are improving for a run I think Continuous has a huge shout tomorrow.
June 4, 2023 at 07:23 #1650405I have also backed Continuous, I also have him in my Ten to Follow line in the Forums competition.
As GM23 says,The Foxes ran well yesterday as did White Birch which is encouraging.
Continuous is bred well, by Hearts Cry, who like August Rodin’s sire Deep Impact is a son of Sunday Silence and his damsire is Galileo, same as Auguste Rodin.
His dam is from Female Family no 1, a good family.
Drawn 1, hope Ryan Moore gets him out of the gate sharply.
June 4, 2023 at 10:46 #1650442Personally I don’t think the Dante was any good at this stage so will be concentrating on the French horses
Big Rock 3/1 win
Feed the flame 3/1 stake saverBoth super impressive last time
Sided with big rock as the winner as I can see him getting a pretty easy lead and galloping them into submission with his high cruising speed. He reminded me of ghaiyyath the way he won last time.
June 4, 2023 at 11:13 #1650452Daylight was basically third in The Derby this year and I doubt anything that ran in the Dante will be winning a Group 1 this year.
At current odds, I’m happy to be immediately proved wrong today.
Big Rock looks the most probable winner, but though it wasn’t the greatest renewal ever, 12/1+ a Classic winner, who finished strongly to win and has stamina on the dam’s side looks fair to me.
He’s the one with the Group 1 form – many shorter are all progressing potential, or even hype.

Big rock is the most likely winner but im happy to take a chNce on marhaba ya sanafi at 14.5s, hes being overlooked in this id have him half the price, dont see stepping ip in trip being an issue atall
June 4, 2023 at 15:04 #165049620 American Flag on the machine might also be fair if his last run was overlooked.
