The problem is Stacelita’s pedigree is dominated by softer ground 90% and the last time she got it was when she won her 1st group race on the bridle.
She looked totally uncomfortable today on this track and the going but still ran well was not travelling, was unbalanced and the slow pace didn’t help.
Barshiba was all at sea with Stacelita directly behind her and should’ve made it a test no way was she going to quicken of a slow pace.
Midday travelled ok and had benefit of c+d experience and was given a good ride quickening off a slow pace which allowed her to save a bit for the finish.
As for the Arc she didn’t stay the 1m4f last year but who knows if the ground comes up soft? She’ll be in her element and would be difficult to stop.
Care to explain please? Or just how you make Harbinger a 6/4 chance without knowing ground conditions/draw and unexposed horses in opposition.
Form book reads Youmzain beaten 15 lengths today by Harbinger in their only meeting hence 33/1 for the Arc fair price interesting.
hmmm what to do what to do? Lets follow the hype shall we since the majority are the Bookies favourite customers.
What the "winners" don’t seem to realize is Workforce was in a race today and wilted like a pacemaker doesn’t bode well for future races.
Cape Blanco deserves an extra special pat on the back for directly chasing the rabbit and being the 1st under pressure yet sticking to his guns battling it out but unfortunately setting it up for Harbinger to pick up the pieces.Thank goodness there are numpties who back short price favourites for a race 3 months away (a super competitive one as well) or else there wouldn’t be no money for the rest of us.
Anyone who doesn’t have a shilling or 2 on Youmzain e/w and would rather back a short price favourite for a top class race is the one the bookies welcome with open arms.Just seen the race again I thought Workforce ran well beat the pacemaker by 6 lengths similar to the Derby in a quick time.

That probably wasn’t the "true" Workforce but it was plain to see when he had quality horses challenging on both sides he weakened like a pacemaker.
He Derby rating is laughable and that’s being generous, people said he was better than STS
(neither he is nor Harbinger).
Cape Blanco better than Workforce absolutely yes just for grit and resolve, Workforce is a big baby things fell in place for him perfectly in the Derby. The 2nd in that race will struggle to win another race. That says it all really its all in "black and white" if you look hard enough.
The mugs are backing him I’d want 5s before backing him antepost its very likely he’ll be bigger on day.The ARC going will be very different and 2-1 is another mugs bet.
I am a mug then.

Does he have a better or worse than 33% chance of winning the Arc?
Worse he still has to get there in one piece and he might well have peaked today. Somehow I see more over hype mania ala Workforce because of winning distance and track record but they will mean little in another race in another environment in 3 months.
I can see Youmzain doing what hes done for 3 years and anyone who backs Harbinger at 2/1 and not Youmzain e/w at massive odds is a mug.
Still wish you was my bookie? The flat version of Dunguib the most over hyped horse for years.
(Zero in the tank when challenged) STS who?
Harbingers knockers what you got to say now? All the way to 5/1!
Cape Blanco comfortably confirmed his Dante superiority but Harbinger different class. At Darren Daryakana nice filly outside chance if she has the speed to come late but does she have enough speed against this field?
Unlucky if you backed Daremi but she had no chance anyway. I’m even more sure now Workforce won’t win.

Ok can we please have the results part of the thread put back up for all to see or is that too much to ask?
No hindsight or this or that simply put the results part backup but am not holding my breath.
Yes I know things were removed the other threads like when I accused 2 trainers of being up to no good yet Findlay and Curley are castigated?
Et al since you ask "Sir" Micheal Stoute and "Sir" Mark Prescott.
I thought a forum was for discussion yet it seems you can throw stones at certain people for their actions whereas others are protected for no particular a bit like Bookmakers over the Punters. hmmmm. No wonder whenever I come on these days the place is empty with the crap going on, certain people are castigated (Findlay, Curley) yet no moderator bats an eyelid but for Naughton et al there is some need for special circumstances something stinks.
As a younger member it feels like am entering a pension club compared to other forums which are bright and bubbly and open and people can say what they like about conmen and shysters and all.
Time to move on.
Save your dough on the 3 year old fillies in the Nassau if Stacelita/Midday turn up. Stacelita loves to dominate looks like Barshiba might give her some nice toe 4/1 laughable price.
Well then unlikely the apples will be toppled where the bandwagon follower he might actually have a "value" bet ahem Fist.

I think Mawatheeq might upset the Applecart
Speedy enough to run over 10 furlongs and stays 12

I think we all should take up knitting.
Probability dictates these can’t always win and when they don’t thats the time to cash in.
I’ve removed the names of the specific trainers Stacelita names. Can we all be careful please when accusing specific individuals of being ‘at it’ – Cormack
