Arkle – the 5/1 didn’t last long for Champagne Fever so it’s 2 pts win CF @ 4/1 (general)

    World Hurdle – Zarkandar 1pt e/w @ 14/1 (stan james)

    Added another couple;

Sizing Gold E/W @ 33/1 JLT Novice (Jewson) – loved the way this horse jumps. While maybe not the classiest in the field his jumping could get him into the places.

Zarkandar E/W 16/1 World Hurdle – not convinced with Big Bucks & At Fishers Cross as both beaten by the 145 rated Knockara Beau. Nicholls also gave him a positive mention as the "forgotten horse" on the morning Line yesterday. Beaten twice by Annie Power and that horse is none too shoddy :)

Looking for a "Special" result in the QM so it’s 1pt E/W at 40/1 WHills on Special Tiara for me!

    Good evening guys,

Must admit i’m warming to Goodwood Mirage. I agree if he jumps like his last run he’ll have no chance in the triumph. However, he ran too free and made mistakes at the last two hurdles when jumped in to. Jonjo was surprised at how fresh he was and stated he jumped well at home. He’s going for the Adonis at Kempton and if he wins that would be near favourite for the race. I’m prepared to give him another race to prove his worth and am tempted by the 25/1.

Not much in way of a book this year as struggling to get a handle on the form :?

    Arkle: Champagne Fever 7/1

Champion Hurdle: The New One 5/1

    E/W Double CF & TNO

Supreme: Regal Encore 33/1 E/W (vibes not good from Honeyball and taken drift on exchanges)

    Neptune: Diamond King 33/1 & 25/1 – both E/W

Gold Cup: Al Ferof 20/1 E/W

RSA: Bright New Dawn 25/1 E/W – (Didn’t think it stayed last time despite poor ride and more likely for the JLT i think)

Potential: Albert Bartlett – like Captain Cutter but now a bit short @ 10/1 for ante post just yet. Also looking at Carraig Mor but noises from AK that maybe year too soon.

    Good luck with all selections!

    Hi Guys,

I’d like to join in the fun!

CH: I’m a big The New One fan so it’s 2 points win @ 10/3 WH

GC: Hoping for a Al Ferof win in the Denamn Chase and on to the Gold Cup, so it’s 1pt E/W Al Ferof @ 16/1 WH

    Good luck to all!

Hi all, glad the jumps season is backup and in full swing!

Just had a quick look at the Weekender. The last 3 RSA chase winners to contest the Hennessy have won, so it’s Lord Windermere for me :D

Well done to the French filly who looks quirky but talented.

Really disappointing run from Talent. This is the first year i can remember that the Epsom Derby and Oaks form is not worth a jot!!

Ok guys i’m going to give you a break! I got the Irish DErby horribly wrong so going to give you my selection in the Oaks so you can swerve that one

I’ve looked at the form and the only Group 1 performer is Talent (appreciate the French horse was placed but she was beaten well by 4Lengths). I know the English Oaks form has taken a few dents but she could only beat what was put in front of her and she was convincing So it’s Talent to show her true Talent and win the Oaks convincingly!

    Good luck to all

Ok, I know that everything i’ve tipped lately has turned to stone but i’ll stick my head above the parapet again!

I have been a big Al Kazeem fan but noticed he’s drifted on the exchanges from 6/4 to 9/4 so he’s too short for me. I don’t famcy the O’Brien horses and can’t see The Fugue beating Al Kazeem. Also, fillies / mares have a horrendous record. I bet Danedream in last years King George and my feeling is that the German horse Pastorius is under rated so it’s e/w pastorius with ladbokes 1/4 odds first 2 for me

    Good luck all

Must admit i can’t find anything to beat the favourite and actually think it should be odds on. Hills 11/10 will do for me!!

    Hi Ginger,

I’d love to have some of your 14/1 e/w on Ocovango. I think he’s every chance of making a place if not winning. Bred to be a Derby winner!

I remember backing El Gran Senor for the Detby and getting outstayed by Sectreo after running all over that one one furlong out and can see the same today with Dawn Approach.

It’s e/w for me on Ocovango, allez le france!!

Van Der Neer ticks all the boxes. Placed in 2 Group ones, he’ll do for me

The ground now drying out so in addition to Panther Claw having a small e/w on Muirhead. He was a classy hurdler who has yet to reach those levels over fences. Could today be his day with in form Davy Condon on board?

I know that this race keeps throwing up big priced winners but Panther Claw just keeps leaping out at me :D

I wouldn’t write Grandouet off yet, although it would be nice if he had a clear season and decent ground. Agree about Our Connor, pleased for Dessie.

I’m a big Grandouet fan but he seems so fragile and has his quirks. It’s the New One for me!!

Don’t think the Triumph bunch look much this year, including Our Conor. Also as previously mentioned has the 5-y-old stat against him. Will be with THe New One next year, looks some machine!
