Has to be my namesake See More Business. Should have won the Gold Cup in 98. I had won VIP tickets and was watching from grandstand with lots of well to do’s around me. Saw him carried out through bins and shouted b*llocks extremely loudly.
Showed great character to come back the next year and win it. Yes i was on.

To echo an earlier post, racing was the winner today. There always going to be chance that one or the other might not perform to his best. That horse was KS today. I backed Denman and was thrilled to see him win.

My well informed dad says Denman wouldn’t have got much further but he didn’t have to did he? Great horses, great performance and finally a very sporting reaction from connections of both horses. Too rare a thing these days. Is it really a year until we get to see it again? .

I’m the first one to criticise some of the things this country does but although I’m very disappointed about the abandonment can you imagine if something did happen today? The festival would probably never be the same again. The H&S folks would have a field day.

Disappointing but at least they are going to squeeze all the races in over the next 2 days.
