cheers mate, i signed up a few months back, just before cheltenham to have a look around and see what the punter’s are saying but not used it since so just back on it recently, trying to get using it.
alright mate, yeah i heard this too but the likely plan is for him to be kept hurdling. medermit and celestial halo are likely to be the only notable recruits to fences from last years champion hurdle.
February 9, 2010 at 23:53 in reply to: Other than Red Rum, who was the best National Winner? #275290I’ve got to say Lord Gyleene in 97 just with the whole bomb scare and then in the end just a terrific winner.
The quicker pace will put the jumping doubts to bed his jumping is sketchy with a poor pace but as soon as they go half a stride quicker it’ll come on a bundle.
Celestial Halo and Rooster Booster both faced more than 2 rivals though.
Paul Nicholls has tipped up Takeroc and has said it’s too big a price also that he has improved massively for a good comeback.
I agree TB is extremely talented but i don’t see him being a match for BB’s it’s a fight for second place barring any mishaps.
This race looks tailor made for Barbers Shop. What race is he likely to go for this or the Gold Cup?
I think it is grossly unfair to blame the fire alarm to have any bearing on his unfortunate fall it was just one of these things and its a part of the sport which sadly happens.
Yeah i agree that Nina is a better rider but i think it was a bit of both yesterday that it was a misjudged ride but i would also say Agus a Vic just wasn’t good enough.
The fences at Naas are testing and should have educated the horse thoroughly before the festival and the last fence there also is very challenging as it is met on rising ground so i’m definetley not worried about his jumping holding up at Cheltenham.
At the end of the day i don’t doubt Codd’s ability especially after the ride he gave Character Building at the Festival so i’m just putting it down to a couple of misjudged rides and hopefully he’ll be back on form soon.
The horses at the top of the market all look of similair ability only standouts are Zaynar and Go Native who could both be anything.
Matchmade in heaven, The Tank and McCoy look so well suited for each other but at the end of the day i still don’t see Kauto being beat no matter who rides Denman.
Have to get Dunguib now he’ll go 1/2 on the day rather get him now at evens!
Got to be one of the weakest bumper divisions in recent years no standouts at all.
Yes but surely with an experienced jockey on board who knew all about the hussle and bussle of cheltenham and how to handle the pressure of cheltenham he may well have went a whole lot closer.
