he was a loony tune obsessed with ideas of racial purity for the indian tribe he belonged to nothing to do with bullying he was aping a previous school shooting by two kids who were also members of various neo nazi groups
martydom and superioroity (in his eyes) were his motivations
terrible news seagull
my condolences go to his family
i had in past exchanged a few emails with him he seemed a very nice person
run and skip posts
if hunting was only done by black people would blair still want to ban it???? i think we know the answer to that one
my last post on your comment was deleted but i will repeat myself as i find it amazing that only flagship amongst the other posters has the decency to pick u up on this.
barring the rest of your post leaves a lot to be desired do u think cheap rascist remarks will further your cause
is the pro hunting lobby now so desperate they are clinging on to the britain is white vote
i do wonder sometimes atthe makeup of the countryside alliance
you and i wont prejudge youmay not be rascist or even have thought of the effects of this statement
but that is how commentslike this come accross
good point zorro racing is shooting itself in the foot by siding with hunts people they should do what most sports do and stay neutral on what has now become a political debate
i do hope cheltenham wises up and removes the countryside alliance stand and renames the day they call country side alliance day
unless ofcourse its opponents are going to be allowed a similar sized stand and a anti hunting day of racing.
looking at the unruly mob of hooligans called the countryside alliance
it would have been a good idea to use dogs preferably starving alsations to disperse them and send them back to where they come from
mesh
the irish champion stakes may be a bit more exciting than the kg
doyen-bago-arazamour for starters
allthough i amlooking very much forward to ascot as well
dm was retired in july so using autumn form is pointless for both of them
presuming history was changed ie dm had not received his injury there is just the same chance that what ailed montjeu wouldnt have happened either
flagship
i would say the tattersalls gold cup and the kg form
and i would say on any ground, turf only 10-12f montjeu would beat dm
i would also add inmo if dm had of made the bc classic he wouldnt have won that contest either
mesh
its over 10f sulamani was going to trial in this year before a run in the pow
flagship
im sure montjeu won the 10f gold cup race at leopardstown cant reacall the name (powerscourt won this years version)
that form and the kg form arc formwould have been good enough in my opinion
is that mona lisa by any chance???
u are right mesh
sorry it was 8l apologies
still not much of an achievement
to be flat out to beat a grp 3 horse
but i agree mesh he had plenty of style
shame about the substance
fu sendawar was clearly wrong that day (and not certain to stay trip either) and in his following race dissappointed as u say beat all and sumitas finished in front of him did they improve to be europes best milers
i agree though its an old subject thats been discussed many times on different forums and probably best left for history
i would add in what was called his greated turf victory the pow
he beat the mighty sumitas and beat all (an appropiate name) by 5l and what exactly did sumitas achieve 17l behind giants causeway in champion stakes ÂÂÂ
i forgot to mention in my earlier post in the qe11 why do u use balsida whomfinished last and did not give her running (completely different ground to her win anyway) and not the nags whom finished 2nd and 3rd as your formline
great stuff indeed
style plenty a great horse to watch
substance not a lot really
is
behrens
beaten previously by lemon drop kid 17l was hardly and being nice to the horse in his prime was he??
in third place calling home 9 yr old both campaigned abroad cos connections didnt think they were up to winning in the states hardly in their youth were they ??? if racing in uk they would be more likelyto appear in the rsa chase or the grand national than a grp 1 flat race
qe11 ran in extremely heavy ground (saturday called off and ran on straight course as ground unraceable on round course) he broke fast from stalls impossible for horses to catch him
eugene adam as u say horse he beat was best france could offer ??? and only placed in bc mile u mean dm only achieved what others did slickly was no great shakes not even thought good enough to challenge for top races in uk
still lost to see how any of dm form compares with
nijinsky mill reef bg swain montjeu seabird db ribot el gran senor etc etc………..
i wont mention his performence behind oath who could hardly be called on of the greatest derby winners
i agree 110% with you transeurope/wilsonl
people have gone overboard at the temple of dm
he did not put up one performence to justify the overthe top hype he receives
rd
i agree with you its a very beutiful part of the country
broadway and winchombe being very nice
and the short cut to the track avoiding winchombe also very scenic (and cuts out the invariable traffic jams at festival times)
chipping campden between cheltenham and broadway??
have u moved it since last friday then
cheltenham
then royal ascot
then the hennessy for me
if i could include leopardstown i would put the xmas meeting there in 3rd place and the hennessy meeting in 4th place
