berlin is beginning to open up into spring
there are buds on the trees and it hasn’t snowed for about two weeks now
it is quite hard to understand how a child could desribe such things but their experiences in life ahve been so different to ours, it is understandable that they have been desensitised somewhat
She is amiable enough, but is also incredily vacous and dull
She does and awful column for the guardian in which she moans about ther husband
I must tell you this story that happened to me some years ago
Four of us played golf at a posh golf course 20 years ago and my boss at the time was amongst us. He had a few quid but was a bit of a villain/wide boy. Well after we played our round we went into the clubhouse for a drink and he said he was buying. he kept trying to get the attention of the bar staff but they just kept serving the (obviously) regular members. even though we had been waiting some time. Eventually after some 20 minutes or so the barman came over to serve us, because their was no one else to serve!
My ex boss proceeded in ordering about or 12 or so drinks (beers, expensive doubles etc), bearing in mind there was only 4 of us. The barman then asked for payment to which my ex boss said "Now ****ing drink them for keeping us waiting" and we leftyour old boss sounds like a scammer, like poeple claim the same about postal gold scam things
as a barman myself i can say that people like that are what makes poeple not get served in bars

i dont think there should be a maximum wage limit, but the minimum wage should really be higher, and the age limits should change. I worked for a few months as a 21 year old on minimum wage, which was 5.55 at the time, but there was an increase to something like 5.74 if you are 22!

I watched The Crazies the other day which was really good. Its a remake of a George Romero film from the 1970s, and is about a mysterious chemical that infects a small towns water supply turning them into murderous ‘zombies’ (although not really zombies, more like 28dayslater type infected)and i guess is similar in that it is like
, in terms of its popularity
It was a really good film, although the scary bits were generally the standard Hollywood ‘makes you jump’ thing
