‘nothing sensible or logical works’ Never has a truer word been spoken (or in this case typed ) 8)
Thx LD – I think may follow that and hey what the heck see what happens! Well of course not quite just yet one has to finish ones course so one can speak Swiss-German like a native (or Nativ if those verbs want to jump in again  )

Also a piece of ‘wisdom’ I have recently adopted as very apt in certain circumstances such as these is, don’t make a decision until you absolutely have to.

Ps Are you any good at Akkusativ, Nominativ and Dativ verbs?

KT – Toss a coin – 2 out of 3 – go for it.

Hey that could be the go!

From my experience, nothing sensible or logical works, so don’t try and be rational about it. Good luck to you though. I’m not all envious.

    Dear Zome,

Thank you kindly for the offer. Can the flip chart be used more than once?

    Dear Zome,

Someone very recently told me that drink wasn’t good for me. If I give you their details, could you have a word please?

Mark Johnson appears to have pushed the boat out; spending $300k twice on two fillies:

    Dubawi – Regina Maria
    Storm Cat — Winning Season

He’s no mug and/or he’s spending someone else’s money. Sorry without looking it up in the catalogue, I presume Regina Maria is the US bred one in this case?

Someone has downloaded Duffy’s album for me, and I really like a couple of the tracks lyrically, but have a feeling her voice may start to grate if I listen to it too much?

Does anyone know if Pat Dobbs is okay? Didn’t he have a nasty fall in the winter/tail end of last season?

Are there any statistics or reports of adverse affects of this vacine? I am asking out of total ignorance, but speaking personally if this had been available when I was younger I would have chosen to have it.

The right decision i think, in terms of time to retire, and also from a health point of view too.

A very good jockey and a nice individual too, always seems to have time to speak to people who want to speak to him with interviews and so on.

    Have a good retirement Mick.

Totally agree – not just for interviews with the media either – a thoroughly nice man. Personally, I know he has said in the past he has a media type of job lined up, but I would love to see him set up as a trainer.

they would give Ravens Pass a run where they don’t track who they think is the biggest danger. I thought he gave Henry just a little bit too much rope, drifted slightly right under a right hand drive and if neither of those two things had happened, given the way he was finishing, and the winning distance, just might have made the difference. Having said that, I would like to see RP try 10 furlongs as I think he was just caught for a few strides for pace but was staying on really well. Would love to see him win something as he is a smashing individual.

Absolutely agree with both of you on all of the above points, and to add that people conveniently ‘hide behind’ them when it suits them.

Now not only can you not choose your relatives – you can’t choose your friends either!

How true. The number of people who have ‘friends’ on websites but claim to have never met, have any contact with,or think extremely bad of but because of cyber space seem to be buddies.

died a few years ago after enjoying his retirement. Found dead in his paddock one morning. Saw him in 2001/2002 – had no teeth but was healthy otherwise and enjoying his life. Slip Anchor was there too – think he may well be the oldest one left.
    Forgive the quality:
