Just Proud that we have the best racehorse in the world

Its just a thought.
I didn’t see this in the RP or any other news media this is big news.
Coolmore trio join Pipe’s owners at Pond House with Effervesce.
DAVID PIPE has welcomed the Coolmore contingent of John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith to his list of owners, with four-year-old filly Effervesce set to carry the famous navy blue silks, writes Stuart Riley.
Effervesce, formerly trained by Sir Michael Stoute for Cheveley Park Stud, is due to have her first run imminently having been purchased by Pipe last October. The daughter of Galileo has been off the track since last September but is ready for her first run for new connections having been declared a non-runner at Bath on Monday.
Pipe said: "It’s brilliant to have them as owners in the yard. She’ll be the first horse to run in their colours for us."
Explaining how he came by his new owners, Pipe said: "Gordon Elliott bought her at the horses in training sale on our behalf as we really liked her. Subsequently, the Coolmore team showed an interest in her and they wanted her."
On future plans, Pipe added: "She missed Bath the other day but she’ll be out some time soon, although it’s all up in the air at the moment as we don’t have any real plans for her. We’ll see how she goes.
"She’s rated just 74 on the Flat and has a lot to prove. We’ve not even discussed with the owners whether or not she’ll run over hurdles yet."
that’s the only thing it could before init? unless there investing in NH for J O’Brien ? as i said its strange
Probably worth to much at stud and didn’t want to geld him i think.
It was, and owned by cheveley park stud do you think she was brought breeding?

Another win well done Rapid Redux
I’m not just a flat racing fan, That’s the point.
For some reason this season has not been up to what previous seasons have been. IMO
I would rather
Rooney
over
Joe Barton
in the sport any-day..
Or them cheating jockeys and trainers who have been in the papers recently…
Racing Daily
Rooney is admired by millions of young people and if he is interested in racing maybe those young people will follow the interest?

Johnston returns to jumps racing
Mark Johnston claims improved levels of prize-money have lured him back to jumps racing.
The Middleham handler has only saddled a clutch a National Hunt horses since the turn of the century. He did, though, win the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle with Star Rage in 1997.
But Johnston will return to the jumps circuit this season, for which he has three horses primed to compete over hurdles – with Bowdler’s Magic due to line up at Huntingdon on Thursday.
He said: "When I last had runners over jumps the prize-money was so bad. I remember sending horses to the races for next to no prize-money. I decided it was a bad job.
"In recent years, prize-money has swung around and it is arguably better than on the Flat, particularly when you compare it to the all-weather prize-money, which is just ridiculous.
"We are better off running these horses over jumps so we are going to give it a go with three decent horses. If this worked very well, we enjoyed it and the owners did then we might have some more, but I’m not expecting to."
Johnston’s two other hurdling recruits are Becausewecan and Tartan Gunna.
Flat stable-star Jukebox Jury, dead-heat winner of the Irish St Leger, will return to England in the new year after finishing lame in the Melbourne Cup last month.
Johnston told the Daily Mail: "Jukebox Jury is in Australia with a big bandage on his leg but the reports are good and he should be home by the end of January. He suffered a fracture of his cannon bone.
"The Ascot Gold Cup is in our minds but you couldn’t go straight there so we can’t say he’ll definitely make it. The long-term plan is the Melbourne Cup again next year."Copyright © 2011 The Press Association. All rights reserved.
