Ahhhh thought we had it there with Montoyas Son but out jumped at the last and beaten by a better jockey. Off the track 285 days so a good training effort there, profit on the bet though EW at 8s.
Just the one bet for me today BUT 2 to watch out for on their debut runs:
330 Hexham: Have been told that
At Windsor i will be watching with interest the runs of:635: Serial Sinner
705: Native ColonyBe Lucky all who play

Field will firm up tomorrow with the 5 day declarations but the one’s i like at the moment are:
Minella Four Star, Beshabar and the amazing Blazing Bailey.
Blazing Bailey looks extremely well weighted and if he stays could be just the type for this event.
Nice shout on Ballabriggs

What a run from Always Waining friday, looked well beaten by Mon Perrain but ran on very bravely.
Great Aintree

Glad some of you followed the trends, what a superb ride and race from Always Waining.
Mon Perrain jumps a fence beautifully, wonder how good he will turn out to be and whether he will get further in time.
Get in Always Waining

Last winner Day One and first winner Day Two, yee haaaa, getting to like this Aintree place

Kristi: Yay that’s Day 2 paid for, great ride on Arbuthnots, that man has won me bundles this season with this one and Pere Blanc!!
First in doubles and trebles too

Krist: Had a near miss yesterday, EW patent with Grandouet (would have gone very close), Caroles Legacy at 6s and Russian War at 16s. had a nice EW Russian so well up on Day one.
I like the look of the following today:
200:
230:Master of the Hall could be the one but no bet for me here.
305: Again no bet but Kalahari King and last years winner Albertas Run could fight out the finish if Graham Lee can sit a wee bit closer to the pace.
340:415:
450: Another tricky race but i am opting for
Be Lucky
With Always Waining not deffo running i shall take a horse that jumped round well in last years National until tiring late on, that was
I still like the chances of
Both EW for me
Superb first days racing and thankfully Russian War decided to put his best hoof forward, excellent patient ride from Paul Carberry.
Like the look of the following today:
200:
230: Too hard to call but Master of the Hall could be the one.
305: Race to watch and savour.
340:415: Sparky May
is the NAP of the day for me.
What a truly outstanding horse and to think they only ended up over hurdles as Ruby was injured and poor Sam Thomes ‘slid’ off in the Hennessey! Where would BB be now if he had won that day? What a thought
I do think Gordon Elliott could have a very good day again today, he must be one of the best up and coming trainers around. I have to admit thinking his GN win was going to be a ‘flash in the pan’ but how wrong was i!!
Carlito Brigante 200 and Russian War 525 could be a very nice EW double
TY Mr Martin and Mr NTD,
Worth an EW bet IMHO
Krist:
200:
230: No bet but a race to savour between Zarkander and Grandouet.305: I have
415: Why is Graham Lee riding the outsider for Ferdy the rogue when Reveley is on the 2nd fav of Ferdys!! I have a very small bet at 50s on Beggars Cap but to win he must do it from a stone wrong!525:
Good Luck
BHigg: I too am waiting on Golden Kite however only NTD will make his decision tomorrow before 9 o’clock so that the next reserve may run, Tony Martin has stated he will not, he will give the horse every opportunity despite having 90% chance of not running to form let alone running, shameful really!
Looks like Skippers Brig fans will be getting a run after all

For those interested Caroles Legacy is nearly totally blue on oddschecker and down to 5s in places but Bet 365 are still 7s.
Having heard that Caroles legacy is in foal she will be my choice and a RFC with Punchestowns.
Silverhand being a NR in the Silver Cross Listed HCap Hurdle i will be backing Gordon Elliots RUSSIAN WAR EW, had a nice break but off this low weight will go very well and looks a very good place opportunity and may even be good enough to win.
