aji, your use of the word Superior is crass, what it does show from your question and your previous post is a disconnect which is a paradox.

    An excellent article

There are blatant points within the piece that appear designed to draw out the puss of modernistic, dangerous thinking.

aji “inhumane” “superior” your type of screwed up logic is so threatening to the balance of society.

Animal rights, fuzzy thinkers (where animals are concerned) and the PC wallahs are rust that serves only to corrode society and warp further an already distorted world view.

Self-appointed thought police too close for comfort to far right actions if their understanding of how the world should be is not satisfied.

Thoughts and best wishes to JT McNamara his family and friends.

Hats off to the Men and Women who bring us the sport we love.

Let’s not beat about the bush, the rspca and the lily-livered liberals’ want the Grand National race gone, their proposals oh yes a death by a thousand cuts, the race then no more.

Are all so lost in the lust for profit that we forget the gain of sporting excellence? Where horse and horsemen together test themselves!

Let’s not be under any allusion that the end of this great race is only the beginning of their insipid plans.

Draw a line now because even the changes they have made can cause injury, a loose horse can now have the option of running out and past the fence, the lily-livered liberals cannot think that the horse by itself can come to any harm or cause havoc .

They are using the unspoken nature by which they themselves supress in their delusional, modernistic vision, the twisted thinking of the world view they want to impale on society.

The weather is as the weather does.

After the flood damage Southwell has suffered it’s not surprising the track is not so appealing on the eye, as for the Horses well all

Horses are beautiful, some more so than others.

Re C4 build up to start of flat season, get real, we’ve been spoilt in recent times with relatively decent weather which has only served to pander office wallahs and their business spread sheets.

Racing is suffering from too many fingers in the pie, unless organisations are willing to network resources and exposure when fixtures are cancelled for the good of the whole racing scene then the business chaps will eventually walk away because the spread sheet says no…profit.

Yep, its across the board sports wise, I think it was Alistair Cook in a recent test match in Indian who made a century innings and upon reaching his 100 the crowd were silent! no recognition of a superb batting display whatsoever.

    Bias to a dangerous level.

That Tanya betting ring non expert, I actually heard her say she had to leave the betting ring because of the amount of people there! Good god!!! Big Mac would have loved to be in the midst of the jungle, telling us the odds, shouting at people not to be silly and telling us to come racing.

What have we got? A squeaky incoherent isolated ipad user.

Burro’ you must be havin’ a laugh, Rishi is a complete embarrassment, racing is not a game for a moderate jack of all trades.

Moving onto Nick Luck – he is a man you would expect to be greeted by upon entering a funeral parlour.

    Desperate and sterile.

Oh yes and Clair Balding looks like a member of the Beeb Beeb Ceeb in a foreign country without a proper briefing.

No Jockey how great or Trainer or Owner is bigger than this sport, let the facts come out and then judgement can be made.

However, let us be minded to reflect on the whole picture rather than sensationalising on one person (prominent as he is) and risk blackening the name of our sport for a few cheap headlines where the soap opera mentality lends itself to the bovine.

Chapman is superb at his job and doesn’t suffer from a sore Arse as so many other presenters who prefer to sit on the fence.

Put the start back to original place, place 1 or maybe 2 practice fences (brush hurdles maybe) before the “first” fence to establish a stride pattern rather than an all-out gallop to first fence.

The practice fences could be pulled away for the beginning of the second circuit.

Leave the course as-is from now on to stop the death by a thousand cuts from the lily livered liberals.

Is teaching basic probability theory too much to ask?

How many lessons would it take to teach the law of large numbers? an eternity?

What about games of ruin? how difficult is it to teach in a class room?

Is it beyond the scope of teachers in this country?

Bookmakers are using sports like Horse Racing and Football to "promote" the FOBT’s, getting staff to push their latest offer, spend a certain amount and get free plays on the latest game on the FOBT.

Just hold on a minute whilst I vomit before quoting the disgusting capitalist former Labour leader Blair’s mantra…Education,Education Education.

When will kids be taught real maths so when they leave school for the final time they’ll recognise the pushers and pimps.

Was paying a compliment Billion, little or nothing can beat consistency me thinks.

A system with a few rules based on reasoning is far better than a filtered back fitting small sample non-sense don’t you think?

Horse racing seems to be like the shifting sands of the desert where simple rules seemingly ought not to fit, yet if properly surveyed an oasis may be found, but like so many things in life it cannot suffer over-use.
