A couple of Class 3 h/c chases today. The one at Bangor is the classiest.
I considered only 8 runners in each race. Here are the top 3-4 rated with bog prices alongside.Value bets are inbold.

Name-my odds-bookies odds now.
Tenor Nivernais-9/2-10/3 (no bet)
My Shamwari-7/1-8/1 (B365 bog) (Got 11/1 VC bog early this morning)
Henry King-8/1-17/2 (VC bog)I’d say YES it can. You need to be quite systematic about it though. Stick to ‘quality’ non h/cap races with only 8-9 runners. Rate all the runners and back your top rated @ whatever price, or take bfsp.
I’ll start a thread today with selections. The best horse won. Simple really!
This is a good race to test one’s methods on. At first glance it appears that these three will carve the race up between them.
Menorah/Silviniaco Conti/Cue Card.
However, I see no value in backing any one of those three to win. Even a book on them is not worth the risk. A book on the rest of the fieldwould
be worth the risk. That type of bet does not appeal to me though. A small win on both Cristal Bonus & Astracad could tempt me.
I figure Menorah is the c/f horse in the race and as such is worthy of a hefty place only bet. It is 1.4 at present.I got a pocket money raise after Nickle Coin won the ’59 GN.
One half of my first winning double was Grey Of Falloden..a grand horse.
At work I touted the chances of Party Politics and Romany King for the ’92 GN. There were beaming smiles all over the place on Monday.
Southendonseabiscuit because the name tickled me.PM sent

No no no

This is simply not good enough. Based on several months of past performance I expected better. It’s in a trough. I’m taking a break to do some revision. There’s ALWAYS room for improvement.

30 win on each @ bfspAh, thanks AJ. Certainly messed it up there.
I unthinkingly calculated ‘Activate’ to a stake of 10. I think
After the first 4 lost the bank went down to 880. Activate then won giving a net profit of 46.74 and the bank went up to 926.72.
Yesterday, 3 losers and a winner @ 10/3 bfsp 4.59. This was a net profit of 12.31 bringing the bank up to 939.03.
I can only see one race of interest for me today. NR’s in other races may increase my interest.Off the mark! Activate wins @ 6/4 bfsp 2.64.
A net profit there of 15.58
After 4 losers and that winner, the bank is 905.58. Stake remains the same.NB 4.55 Dahaam (nap)
Ayr 5.05 Wicked Daze
Wolv 8.20 Dhan Dhana
Wolv 8.50 Regeneration
30 win on each @ bfsp
120 stakedAfter using my skewed version of VDW, here are my top 4 in order of preference.
Ayr Bronze Cup
Coolmix
Jeannie Galloway
Barren Brook
BaldemarAll no good. Shocking eh? Thread should have been titled Ofal.
On reflection, I was a bit hasty yesterday. Two of them should not have been a selection. Ah well. Mistakes must be paid for.Yar 4.40 Activate (nap)
