Is there anywhere online to search (free) PtoP form?

    To be fair, the NH chase at Cheltenham has yielded some good subsequent showings in the Scottish National;

Old Benny last year (won at Chelt, 4th at Ayr), Hot Weld & Nine de Sivola in 2007.

Anthony Bromley I think you mean ( can very easily see where you got muddled!).

I agree about Tricky Trickster. I suspect that the longer break may have dictated Ayr rather than Aintree…though it may also indicate that they think of him as either well handicapped or in need or an extended/testing trip.

Would have loved to have seen him at Aintree for exactly the reason you say…and also as we ourselves have one aimed at Scotland!

Not sure there are "plenty" of options for him.
His 150+ rating by definition bars him from a great many restricted handicaps.

This was toe curlingly embarrassing to watch and was an obvious mistake by Clare Balding.

What I can’t understand though is why it still rumbles on.

She has apologised to him, he has graciously accepted the apology (without denying that she was wrong) and said nothing could have spoilt his day.

If the two main protagonists can move on, why can’t the rest of us?!!

He is already scratched from the Scottish National.

I was just very taken with how he put the race to bed before & after the last. I think that the flat track helped his jumping rather than a slower pace…in fact it didn’t appear to be run that slowly (I haven’t checked times admittedly).

The 153 mark will demand that he runs in decent races and handicaps like the Welsh National would not appeal to me if I was planning his campaign…on 153 he will always have plenty of weight & be vulnerable to a better handicapped/lesss exposed horse.

I know that Kauto star is a good horse but it s a long time until December & anything can happen…this time last year plenty of people were fighting shy of going anywhere near races likely to be contested by Denman!!

I am not for one minute suggesting Killyglen is the best horse in the country but rather that he looks well able to take his place with the staying chase big boys next year along with Cooldine. He is one from this season’s novice chase ranks that I am looking forward to seeing next season – along with Tricky Trickster (Hennessy?), Kalahari King (Paddy Power anyone?) and Cooldine.

My grandad is part of the partnership that own this and while he’s gone down there, he’s not expecting a great deal today. He’s not come back the same horse he was, but horses aren’t machines so could surprise us all. I know he’s not high up on Ferdy’s hit list this week of which Kalahari wasn’t in the top 3 either.

Not sure what your Grandad’s telling you but the DPRP advice on both Kalahari & Nine de Sivola was "each way"!!!

Paris-turf probably most comprehensive but the france galop site has every run from every horse listed, is easily navigated & is free.

Video site is http://www.chvideo.fr by the way.

The Princess Royal roof is the best view in the house and doesn’t get crowded. It’s a sign of the times if there are still tickets for it as it usually books out long before now!

Think it depends which day – as far as I know ALL seats are sold for Fri & Sat but some left for Thurs.

    Sefton/Derby stands are brilliant.

BHA deserve credit for getting Ayr on at short notice but Hexham was always in the calendar (though they changed it to all hurdles on Tuesday)

France Galop site simply lists her as "mort" on the horses details page. No further details.

I am afraid that news of her is not good. France galop report her to have perished. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Looks like there could be a decent compensatory card for Northern racing at the weekend as Ayr putting on an extra card.

We had hoped to run our Lucky Nellerie as we were led to believe there was a decent 3m4f race but it has turned out to be a 3m1f event.

Nellerie had Borders National (Dec 7th Kelso) as his target but that was abandoned…as was plan B the decent 3m4f event at Haydock on Dec 30th. He is now in the North Yorks National which he won last year (Catterick Thurs) & the Classic Chase at Warwick on Saturday. However, both meetings look set to be lost so it will be the 3m4f handicap at Haydock on 17th…weather permitting!!!
