Thanks

County Car Park – LIMITEDFebruary 12, 2009 at 00:29 #209747Dice man, if there are any left I’d go for the Lord Sefton lower seats. We tried out this area last year and were pretty pleased with the view we got of the course. Interestingly not so long ago this enclosure was supposedly sold out but now the tickets are being sent out I guess some people are sending them back. County Stand roof would be my next choice, followed by Princess Royal roof. If you want a good view you do really need to be "up in the air" a bit.
February 12, 2009 at 00:31 #209748I do the Queen Mother Roof.
I used to do the County Roof but it has a shedfull of stairs and about 4 races in they do get on your tits where as the QM has little fewer steps and is easier to get to the paddock from it.
February 12, 2009 at 01:32 #209760I would go in one of the new stands ( Derby or Sefton). The meeting is getting busier and busier and if you want to get to and from the paddock without any hassle these are the two to go for.
Avoid the west tip seats they are a waste of time.
February 12, 2009 at 02:18 #209769The Princess Royal roof is the best view in the house and doesn’t get crowded. It’s a sign of the times if there are still tickets for it as it usually books out long before now!
February 12, 2009 at 02:35 #209770I’m a fan of the Princess Royal Stand Roof too. Great view of the Chair. Hassle climbing up and down the stairs all the time though.

Think it depends which day – as far as I know ALL seats are sold for Fri & Sat but some left for Thurs.
Sefton/Derby stands are brilliant.
February 12, 2009 at 03:01 #209777I just had a look and the Princess Royal roof is still available on Thursday and Saturday. There are no seats up there BTW.
February 12, 2009 at 03:02 #209778avoid tatts at all costs.you cant see a thing
February 12, 2009 at 08:08 #209808Thanks for all the replies
February 12, 2009 at 17:25 #209871Wouldn’t go in the West Tip seats – you’re in a cabin about 2 out on the Mildmay course.
Tatts isn’t too bad if you know what you’re doing – particularly on the thursday.
