it is ideal for me, i do my study on fridays and its so much easier to follow the racing o tv when its chronological. as a devotee of 10 year trends hats off to your tipster with 3/3………..looking forward to next weeks issue, chipmunk (ps do you need a tipster who profiles horses as i have a list of over 500 horse profiles) :D

tv pundits are the last people i would listen to. no names but one in particular…………whoa there big fella……….states his fancies on tv, fair enough but on the same channels teletext page there is a number to ring to hear his nap of the day, my question is why would he tell us what he REALLY fancies for nowt then expect people to pay??,chipmunk

quite easily the best racing book i have read was curleys autobiography. having only read what was said about him on tv and other media i had him down a rogue and a scoundrel, now i know better. he runs horses to make money (check out his record in 0-45 races!!!) chipmunk

for a more serious bet i ensure im not backing it to do anything it hasnt done before.
    course type (galloping, sharp etc)
    left handed, right handed
    field size (large, small)
    distance (not forgetting yardage)
    going
    time of year
    jockey
class…………….and by the time i think its a good bet the price is gone!!!,chipmunk

i find vdw a bit too complex but on the subject of ORs i always use the following to get an idea of the class of the race, add up all the official ratings and divide by the amount of runners. it isnt foolproof but can give you a picture of how classy (or otherwise) a field is,chipmunk

as i had a nice each way bet on youmzain i was livid when they went to the rugby, the tension was building nicely and it made compulsive viewing, out of interest if it had been snooker and it was the deciding game, both players level, just the colours left would they have gone to the rugby………….i dont think so,chipmunk

i hope authorized wins for chapple hyam who comes across as a decent enough chap, my only worry would be the fact it has only run right handed once and lost, was it a blip or was inexperience to blame after all we are all entitled to one mistake !!!,chipmunk :?: :?:

french form is a closed book to my clock minded study of form as so many trials (and races in general) are crawls followed by sprint finishes so i have gone back to basics and looking at the last 10 years all the winners were placed in all of the races contested that season PLUS 9 of the 10 were 3 year olds………voila one horse left AUTHORIZED…..lol. i am aware of the amount of prix niel winners to win the arc (7 of the last 10 i think) so its a reverse forecast with soldier of fortune. to complete a great weekend england to beat the aussies and greek well in the cambs………if only, chipmunk

if he gave it to the injured jockeys fund (with a clause it wasnt used for litigation) it would be a great gesture),chipmunk
