I have blown away the dust to find something to bet this weekend.
Australia has many meetings every Saturday and yet I can only find just the one selection.
Gold Coast – R3 LOT’S WIFE was 2.2 with bet365 . . WON

What a can of worms you may have opened tb and in your own situation perhaps a nice can of worms with a happy ending.
I have only flirted with depression and have not enjoyed the experience and my poor wife has become a jigsaw junkie which keeps her mind off what stresses her most, not unlike your own form study etc.
I found Laying stressful and could not find the same pleasure I get from betting but I am lucky insomuch as my stakes are so small winning or losing changes my life little but that does not mean it is of less importance to me, I enjoy the moral victories, each and every one without the highs or lows.
I hope you have found your way as only you can. I hated these places when members took the high ground and it felt as if they enjoyed telling me my betting style was wrong but it was not wrong it simply was my way of doing things and has at last worked out for me as I again say I hope you can keep doing it your way and get to as many meetings as you can and enjoy them
Take care

I have never considered Hong Kong – HAPPY VALLEY but I have seen it on TV and the racing looks to be good and so I thought I would have a look at tomorrow’s card [Wednesday].
Without knowing much but being housebound as we all are or should be, I could not help but notice: –
DANCING FIGHTER – Race 6 [1.45] which happens to be the 7/4 early favourite.
Lost – It was a good day until . . . . . .

Yes indeed I do know what it is, listening to my wife when I don’t want to, especially when she is drinking

Seriously, contact elcartero here on the forum, he is a sufferer.

I really don’t know much about racing in the Far East other than this meeting is a pretty big one.
Fun only!

Having got quite enough to keep me busy in Australia [overnight] I am intending to be a little cautious and await my results before taking an interest in South Africa.
Durbanville
R1 [11.15] SH BOOM which looks to be my favoured bet at an early price of 6/4
R2 [11.50] FIFTY SHADES DARKER
Turffontein
R3 [12.05 AFTERNOON TEA – – – WON
R6 [1.50] AL MUTAWAKEL – – – WON
R7 [2.25] CELTIC SEA which looks equal to SH BOOM but the early price is a very short odds on and only AFTERNOON TEA – WON just makes odds againstBilly's Outback Shack
I hear what you are saying Homer but unless such things are written down [somewhere] I am guaranteed to forget them.
It’s an age thing!
In my case I rely more on “pen & ink” than I do such things as Clouds.
I use the electronic thing [lap top] only for short term stuff because I am a bit of a dunce I either lose or muck it up and so my long term record is kept on what you term as Hard Copy with all the relevant information on page 1.
I understand it is wrong but it works for me and if I succumb to the Corona Virus I won’t give a S**T anyway.

Friday at Fairview [Sth. Africa]
There is always a search to find the best information/tips and so here is one taken from a changed angle.
Fairview R4 [12.15] MERYL which is priced up early doors as the 6/5 favourite and could be my chance to recoup the loss from Marshall.
That was nice [thanks Michael] and to be quite honest a little unexpected having a poor record there in Sth. Africa. R4 knocked the return back but was still evens.

Indeed Homer, 2 x 2nd & 2 x 3rd overall which pleases me, none!
I have flirted with S.A. on several occasions without any success at all and much prefer my favourite Australia where I found 3 winners from 4 overnight but they were at very, very small prices and the one loser almost knocked out any profit which MARSHALL has succeeded in doing.

Nathan, life is not the problem as you see it but death is.
Leave the details of the accounts plus pass words etc. so that the money can be withdrawn into your bank account which then forms part of your estate and only a single death cert. will have to be submitted to the bank. Otherwise multiple death certs. will need to be submitted to each layer which holds the money.

I remember The Sweet Boy from Somerset suggesting runners trained by a Mr De Kock are much favoured when racing at Turffontein . . . . . . . .
MARSHALL in the 12.45 is just such a horse and at 7/4 [early doors] with bet365 is becoming even more interesting. De Kock also has a 2nd horse in the same race.
MYNAGE is also running for Mr De Kock.

I really should not laugh but you Nathan have made me smile in such dire times.
I have not a clue about what you ask but let us hope we shall all be here next Cheltenham.

By comparison what I have withdrawn is very small indeed but nevertheless it has always represented the means to enjoy my hobby and will again I hope in the future.
I simply feel I am the better custodian of it during these most turbulent times and don’t wish to lose it through no fault of my own or have to face a long battle for recovery.
Stay safe.

GUTTED – GUTTED – GUTTED!
I was so looking towards the new flat season and hoping to experiment a similar system as what I have so enjoyed this winter via the Australian racing.
I fully understand how selfish my attitude is but with the prospect of being in lock down for up to 16 weeks [maybe more] it was only the thought of my involvement with racing which has made the prospect bearable.
We each must deal with adversity as best we can and as long as they keep racing in Oz I have something to hang on to.
Good luck to you all, I hope you keep well, keep your jobs and come through this dire situation as best you can.

I never quite found my feet regarding USA, perhaps because their seasons are much about the same as our. I say much about because it is a very big place with some variations.
MrE may be the man, should you be able to coax him from his self imposed retirement. Hi did once tell me he enjoyed some success in the past over there.
