Echoing what’s been said, but glad to hear you’re doing okay Ginger. I’ve always enjoyed reading
your comments and trading thoughts with you, but health and peace of mind come first. Best of luck
to you Ginge, and Taunton looks a great place to move to
June 24, 2017 at 16:49 #1306324Anyone seen gamble lately?
Aren’t we overdue for an appearance from the great one?
June 24, 2017 at 16:52 #1306326Someone on the betfair forum was trying to get in contact with gamble a while back but was saying he was in poor health the last time they had met, hope all is well with him.
If you are reading gamble, best wishes to you……..

September 25, 2017 at 16:58 #1318869Bonjour everyone.
It has been quite some time that I popped my head in to the forum, but I have recently been finding my old interest in the magnificent thoroughbreds after a couple of years hiatus.
I have had a lot of health woes and got diagnosed with bi-polar disorder so if you understand it, things have been a bit up and down for some time and racing had to fall by the way side, as did many things. But with some time things have leveled out somewhat and old interests are re-appearing.
I hope all are well and it will be good to be back involved rat the home of intelligent racing.
Love xx
September 25, 2017 at 19:44 #1318880Welcome back tbracing
Sorry to read about your health issue(s)
My younger brother was diagnosed bi-polar many moons ago
I don’t know all the ins and outs of it and imagine there and differing levels of the illness and differing treatments. My brother had been fine for years but stopped taking his medication earlier in the year and had quite a setback and is still recovering. He is home now but still not yet back to his old self.
Best of luck tbracing and look forward to reading your views on the horses….xxGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
September 26, 2017 at 06:46 #1318915Welcome back tbracing.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better.
September 26, 2017 at 15:00 #1318943Thanks both, hoping of course you are both well?
Nathan sorry to hear about your brother, set backs can really take time. I had 7 months out of work after one episode! And had time off subsequently after that too!
September 26, 2017 at 18:54 #1318966Good to have you back TB, and hope you continue on the road to recovery.
Hopefully see you on DLAP soon as well
September 26, 2017 at 21:18 #1318982Hey VTC, thanks mate, long time no speak!
Yeah I am sure I will dip my toe in that market again soon x
October 23, 2017 at 12:29 #1323114I hope it’s not out of place asking, but I haven’t seen a post from Stilvi for quite a long time. I hope all is well with him.
October 23, 2017 at 13:52 #1323129Good point. Crossed words with him many times, but he was always entertaining. Hope nothing is amiss
October 23, 2017 at 14:14 #13231389th July his last post

October 23, 2017 at 14:18 #1323139Stilvi and I have crossed swords a few times but I miss his input here. He is one of the few who goes against the grain and that’s always a good thing.
I noticed a while back that he wasn’t posting and the last I recall was him indirectly referring to Seahenge as one to keep an eye on. Which several others pointed out and I think he seemed offended because he felt people were trying to ignore him mentioning the horse first. As I said then, why not name the horse directly to avoid confusion?
Anyway, all the best Stilvi.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
October 23, 2017 at 14:27 #1323143I think he may have left the building Joe, his last post was on July 9th on the 2yo Thread where he pinpointed Seahenge who had won a race at Naas as one to follow, maybe the fact that nobody responded maybe made him think ‘what’s the point’ and he has taken some time out, he did make a later post indicating that fact.
Hope that’s all it is and nothing worse, on Forums you never know…my competition that I run on here Select 3 Horses to win on Saturday was originally started on Yahoo (Horseracing) a dreadful site awash with Trolls. Anyway the guy who ran it was called Des and he did this for years and years until suddenly he didn’t post up anymore so I took over the helm and then we moved in to TRF as Yahoo Trolls started reporting our competition and getting it deleted. I never found out what happened to Des as he used to email me regularly before each competition but I do know that he got very depressed because his best friend died suddenly. I keep the compeition going in his honour and hope he would be very proud of how many take part and enjoy it..anyway I’m digressing.
Hope you decide to make it back for the jumps season Stilvi and that all is well..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 23, 2017 at 14:29 #1323144Steve and I seem to be thinking along the same lines, our posts crossed.
I think you’re spot on Mr. Caution..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 23, 2017 at 14:50 #1323147That’s a shame. I hope he comes back. There won’t be a poster here who hasn’t crossed swords with Stilvi, myself included, several times. But he knows his stuff, would always resist hype and add much needed balance at times.
Stilvi, if you’re looking in, maybe you’d do a quick post to let us know you’re all right?
October 23, 2017 at 14:59 #1323149I hope Stilvi doesn’t mind me talking out of turn, but just so you all know he is well, and decided to take a break from here.
